Wow, that was intense, but we overcame, put a Excalibur 1830 2way in an 08 Mercedes(dodge) Sprinter. Had to take EVERYTHING apart, we took off the steering wheel too, but next time we'll know better, lol. Took about 3.5 hours for our first time at it, next one should go WAY quicker...

exactly what happened is this: me-hey, you think we can do a alarm/remote start 2 way on a 08 sprinter? My installer- oh yeah, just have him bring it down, me - you sure?, him - no problem...

yeah, then came taking everything possible apart to get to the ignition to take it apart and solder 2 wires in, one of which had to go on a surface mounted component that was microscopic in size....you know, I could bitch all night about this one, just look at the pic of the dash...even with all that said, we managed to knock it out in a respectable amount of time, first times a bitch, though...
