  1. Sorry I forgot to reply. My buddy reminded me and I ended up going to home depot with a cut sheet and having them cut the pieces. Thanks for the offer. Now I need to find a meter down here. It slams with the 1000/1, can't wait til my 2000 gets here. Time for more batteries and a mechman
  2. ^I've seen many people use a triangle port but I've never tried it myself. I figured it would work out better than a side firing port. I would like to be enlightened on the issues with it.
  3. How tall is the box? Could you get away with doing a triangle port in the center above and below the centerline?
  4. What is the air space on those subs. I don't think you have enough. You need a good deal of bracing for 18 btl also
  5. I already have the pair of 18s. I'll pull the back of the seat out if I have to and gain more. It's also wider than 48 but than it won't fit a suv if I decide to sell it later. I should know more tonite of the dimensions
  6. I'll try to grab a tape tonite when I get home. Iirc it was somewhere around 48 32 20. If so that's plenty of airspace
  7. I'd get one of the 2 subs you want and a cheap box. If you get d2 or s4 ohm versions you can run your amp at 4 ohm now and 2 ohm when you can get the second sub. That way your half way there instead of starting over later
  8. Most of the time rear firing and furthest back gets the best results from rolloff. If it's not a custom built in box just move it around til it sounds best
  9. youll have less after sub and port displacement. the simple answer is 15s. on the other hand sometimes creativeness can gain you a few feet
  10. Call scott or nick at ascendant and order a few chaos 18s. done deal
