  1. Well I am considering using those subs if anyone cant suggest anything better. For the price of the subs, I think they seem alright. And I know youve been here for years. Well they are dual 2 ohm subs so then I would be wiring them to 1 ohm.
  2. What do you mean, what ohm load? It would all depend on the subs i choose, their coil configuration, and the amplifier minimum impedance Agreed 4 SA-10s would slam on 2k RMS. But, way out of budget lol Thats like $750 for just the subs. I wish it was in my budget but its not right now. I dont have a goal for numbers or anything, its just for a daily system
  3. Yup Ive tried that. But I think 4 10" could be louder than the 2 12" or 1 15" that i can fit in my trunk. my trunk is a terrible shape. This is all I can fit: 1 15" 2 12" 4 10" Ive tried 2 15" and 3 12". Just not gonna fit lol
  4. Yea thats why I was hoping to get louder with 4 decent 10" subs on like 1600-1800 watts. Just gonna make sure its a efficient amp that does rated power
  5. yeah I had an audiopipe 1000 that i just sold, and the amp drew atleast 80+ amps. I was looking for a more efficient amp, even if it was a little more expensive
  6. I had (2) 12" subs on 1000 RMS and it just wasn't enough. So im planning on doing 4 10" subs hoping it will be louder than the 2 12" Just sold the last pieces of my other system. Now wondering what you guys will think about this. Keep in mind it's a trunk build, budget is only for the subs and amp. $600 budget (4) VIBE Audio Black Air 10 subs on 1600-1800 RMS and tuned to 34hz. What do you guys think?
  7. So if i wanna power 3 amps from my HU, I should buy a relay? Or run them from my battery with a switch?
  8. So can I use like a 12ga wire for remote and just split it to my 3 amps? Rather than running multiple remote wires
  9. Im only wondering because i want to use a thicker wire for my remote, and i know that voltage can only travel so far on a thick wire. Like 1 volt couldnt travel 20ft on a 10gauge wire. Am i wrong? Cant you fry your amp that way? or would it just go into protect?
  10. I mean the remote turn on wire coming from my headunit to my amplifier .. How many volts does that put out? Or mV
  11. Does anyone know how much power the Headunit remote turn on wire puts out? And how much power range Amplifiers accept for the turn on connection?
  12. x3 Drop it EDIT: We may need a poll for this one so you can keep track of suggestions This should get popular quick
  13. I can't take a picture it requeres pulling everything out. I do have a dmm. Ill have to test that next
