1992 silverado bass

go with bolts. its easy, cheap, and super effective. steve himself uses this in his car and he is running wayy more than you are. the terminals you are using are acting like resistors, heating up when a high current is pushed through them. you dont even have to use big bolts, just go buy a little pack over at your hardware store. also upgrading your speaker wiring might help.

yea guys, i really fucked up haha i did the box calculator and im actually hitting exactly 1.8 cu ft. thank you carshateme. so if its that size then what port would yall use?

would maybe like a 2" work?

but wouldnt that let out too much air? i want at least a little resonance in the box

haha i really feel like a noob now, umm i was given the subs gently used from my dad and they were discontinued by mtx for quite some time. but i think they are really close to a fosgate p1. the box looks huge but its really only 40 inches across and about 15 inches tall.

hey guys, i need some help. i really want to port this box but i need some suggestions. my stepdad did car audio back when steve started and he is kinda oldschool with his port methods (i.e. good old pvc cut to length after adjusting it) so if you have any suggestions please help!! i will try and get a few pictures of the box up soon
