AlpineGuy87 Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 Ok so, I heard the term Epicenter a lot, and this guy i know has an epicenter in his car, pretty much told me it takes the sound from the head unit and messes with it to produce better quality or something... idk.. but i am interested in what an epicenter ACTUALLY DOES... What Does an Epicenter Do? ... how much are they? ...Where do i get one? .... Should I get one? 06 SCION tC
AlpineGuy87 Posted April 20, 2007 Author Report Posted April 20, 2007 one thing i know, this guy here in Delaware, who has heard Steve's system, this guy competes with an Infinity sub setup and i've heard other infinity systems, not very impressive, but this guy has an epicenter and he was explaining it to me and keeps asking if i got one yet.. I plan on getting the Matrix when I can. 6 channel 13 volt line driver. I know it enhances the bass, cuz with his hooked up, his bass aint as loud... but like, in WHAT way(s) does it enhance it, like richer? Crisper? Clearer? More Powerful? 06 SCION tC
sean 371 Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 It boosts the bass signal. Pretty simple really. Made by AudioControl (do a google search). I think they go for under $100. As for me, I like enough bass to rattle some fillings out, but I have more than I need right now, so I'm going with the Matrix to boost the signal voltage overall.
