camino_1to3
Here's my temporary build with 2x DC lvl 4 15, 2x Hifonics BXI 1208D, Sealed enclosure, Kicker components and highs amps, and a few other things. The car, 1990 Honda Civic Dx Hatch Started off by re-painting some of the more odd things the previous owner had done to the car.. Electric blue? lol Finished up.. Then did some engine block clean up for better heat displacement.. She was FILTHY Cleaned up.. Alright, here's to the build, Level 4s came in. They're pretty beefy. camino_1to3
Started enclosure. Halfway done.. Finished. Amps came in. Picked up the components at Circuit City, had 'em pretty cheap.. KS 60.2 Highs amps came in also.. That's it for now, waiting for wire to come in, IMO it's not too bad for a temporary setup though. Will start something bigger this summer! MXmike800
should be nice and loud dont know if that box is gonna hold up tho any bracing or double sides? Edited February 6, 2009 by mxmike800
camino_1to3
should be nice and loud dont know if that box is gonna hold up tho any bracing or double sides? No double baffle or sides, 5/8" steel threaded rod in each chamber though, just one per chamber. If it does break I'll build something a little bigger anyway honestly, I'm not too worried about it for now. camino_1to3
why did u decide to go sealed instead of ported? It was going behind the seats and I didn't really think I would be able to build something big enough that I could tune down low with good sound & w/o hissing and other things. It'll be loud enough for now though.
