  1. and in case of any natural disaster if you work at that plant means to go to work, lol

Pretty much haha. What sucks the most is being an operator during a disaster or even worse meltdown. You can not get out of the control room from the inside, you must be let out by the next shift. Once you use your code to open the door the code has become void and can only be opened when the new code is generated for the next operator.

So pretty much if the plant goes, you will go down with it.

What!? wow, why? because it needs absolute complete attention to prevent meltdown 24/7/365 or what?

I'm assuming it's a big place, bathroom, coffee maker, etc.

  2. They need to make pizza-pockets and hot-pockets with this so everything doesn't burst out with each bite.

It was astounding the amount of money has been put into security for that plant.

Bomb proof walls, APC's, unmanned turrets with multiple thermal/nightvision cameras, armed guards, razor wire, seismic stability, tornado proofing, and what my father has been contracted on now is flood prevention that will prevent greater floods/waves than Fukushima. The list just keeps going on for everything I saw. The main thing I learned from that day was don't mess around with the people that control the nuclear power..

  3. Ok thanks guys. Also, I have no choice of what the charger/maintainer makes them go up to, I watched and it goes to about 14.8 then drops back down, never really any higher. Keep in mind they have been on this maintained for a while now with no load so they are fully charged. As being fully charged the maintainer spikes them up to the 14.8 then must stop because they then drop back down to resting before my eyes, usually getting to 14 pretty quick then down to resting a little slower.

This is in regards to not charging them over 14.4 :unknw:

  4. No worries on the delay man.

It has been on the charger and is indeed Not leaking. I am gonna go ahead and use it as is and be happy. lol

    Thanks!!

I have 2 D3100's and 6 XP3000's all hooked together in the house on a maintainer and resting voltage is 13.2 and they never seem to go any lower for the maintainer to actually kick on so once a day I unplug it and replug it back in just so it charges them up to the high 14's before I let it sit again till the next day. Sometimes I might let it sit for a couple days plugged in if I forget but I have yet to see the maintainer work without me unplugging and plugging back in. The charger is a 7.2 amp and even with all 8 of these beast batteries hooked together it still only takes maybe seconds to minutes to have all batteries reading (VM hooked on each side of the bank) 14.6'ish and rising but then I normally just stop looking because I'm happy with what it's doing, lol. Normal?

  5. Thanks guys, wasn't trying to stray on thread but I feel it followed the same issue. Also, I did buy the music (Chicken hill, E-40, Psych Morrison, etc.) Although I did download all Decaf and Purple Syrup music so not too sure about that but I was mainly referring to the actually bought music as I was just curious since it wasn't actually me loading a disc. into my player (it skips with CD's anyways). Again thanks all

  6. We are working on the claim now, but as you know people are never willing to aid the situation! If Nathan from XS could chime in that would be great as well. I personally would put the charger on it and see if it held the charge. Then I would load test it and check the results. If it checked out fine I would fix the crack and line the batteries up since I know you got 6 of them :) then you wouldn't really see it. If you had room for a 7th battery I would look into that as part of the claim as well were you keep the damaged batt and get it replaced for your time and troubles. On a side note I presume the other 5 batteries are good?

Yes, other 5 are great and on the charger. I'm assuming the crack is just the shell but I PM'd Nathan as well hoping he would chime in. We'll try the claim thing though and see how it goes. All good =)
