i know its not metal but the beatles have alot of bass heavy recordings, and they took alot of pride in doing clean recordings, so even though its old there are some very good tracks to check your system.

yeah.... im not sure i think im gonna have to have a bowl and ponder how that would work. but using the active x-over with the passive on the amps i can manipulate this and get some more customization out of it? or is that just over processing?

wow i have to say ive never really tried much classic rock, i have listened to some beatles and some boston and its kinda hit or miss for my stereo, depends on what key there playing in,hopefully it wlill get better when i finish this next build.
