I'm not sure what you mean by terminal your amp correctly but don't they usually have problems when you connect or disconnect the rcas while there is power to the hu?
-
The relay is bad.. It sounds like static when I turn on my ignition

I took my car back to the shop i baught my amp and the guy tried a rca splitter off the front set of rca's and it sounded fine so i guess that rules out the amp and I've tried a couple pairs of rca's with the same issue. I'll try disconnecting at the hu and connecting at the amp to see what happens but i don't know what it would be if its not the amp or the hu and ive already tried different rca's? also the shop i origionally had hook up my hu put it in my old envoy. they set up a relay system for the parking brake feature. it worked fine in my envoy but is not in my camaro. i didn't change anything with the relay set up.. possible the relay fried? and any way of testing it?

Forgot to say it's only having problems with the rear output. The front and sub are fine

Hey guys I've got the pioneer 4300 DVD in my Camaro and now that im trying to run a 4 channel I'm getting engine noise.. I've had it happen before on other pioneers and fixed it by wrapping the outputs with a bare wire and grounding it. I tried that and it hasn't fixed my problem. Any other solutions?

I ended up gettin it installed for $450 with all accessories and relay done.. It was a $50 difference for them to do it and I was a couple hours away from home and really wanted to hear it haha. I don't think I'll ever buy another h/u thats not a touchscreen. I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. Best h/u I've had by far and sound quality(i know it was swapped from stock but still) is amazing. -

I don't have the steering wheel controls and hate the door chime so it works perfect. Not planning on watching vids but I might as well do it while I have it apart. Thanks a lot for all your help -

I have a Droid and don't think it's compatible. But what about the interface? Is it required? -

Back to a stock deck in my 03 gmc envoy and always wanted an indash so I'm gonna give it a shot. I was looking into the pioneer 4300 what do you guys think of it? I found it for under $400 shipped. I already have 2 12 in hype arghs on an old power acoustic amp that came with the car hah. The kid hooked up a line out converter and his hack job is causing problems. The deck randomly wont work until i disconnect the battery for a second then it's fine which is why it's pushing me to get a new one soon. I'm just learning about the class 2 data system used in newer GM's. I was told at the first shop i went to it would be a minimum $300 to install not including a deck so I just left.. I've heard that I don't even need the interface if I don't care about the door chime's and the h/u will shut off when i turn the car off instead of when I open the door. I don't really care about either of those, so is it possible to just wire it up with a normal harness? Another shop told me I would have problems because of the automatic lights but I have no idea. Also I found an old thread about someone having to use a 12v constant and ignition off of the fuse box under the back seat instead of the factory one in the dash. It said something about it not having enough voltage? I only found that one issue with that but is there anything like that, that needs to be done? Thanks for any help guys -
Crown Amplifier for 12" type r
pk222 replied to mken4392's topic in Pro Audio / Home Audio / Home Theatre
I don't know anything about the crown amps other than their really expensive. I would just use a plate amp. It would be a lot cheaper and still sound great. check parts-express they'll have what you need. -
Its going to have to. The box is only 14 in deep. I'll just cut it long and keep cutting it down until it sounds best and if I go to far then I'll grab some more abs and make it where it sounded best.

I already have a 5 ft piece of abs. I don't see why thatd be any different than pvc
