They keyboard works... I can type in my user name and password to get into windows. After that its like there is a preference to disable the keyboard cause I cant type shit after that...

I got this Windows 98 computer that I have some programs on that I need! I just got the computer up and running again but some weird thing is happening. I have the PS/2 mouse and keyboard plugged in then I start the computer, It boots up like normal then when it comes to the login screen I enter in the password and everything like normal. But after that the keyboard freezes... I hit num lock and the light just stays on, caps lock light does not turn on, scroll lock light does not turn on... Its like after the login there is a preference set to disable the keyboard, and I really need the keyboard... Anyone know what the problem could be? I have been working on this computer for 2 days now and feel like it was a waste of time... Thanks for your time. And it is recognized in Device manager.

Connect them to the same network, then you share the music files.... Access the music files on the desktop computer, and burn the cd...

Dude, I was told the same shit from CC. I was told that if you bridge a 4 ohm load it cuts it in half to 2 ohms... I soon found out that is bull shit. Anyways maybe the amp wasnt supposed to be bridged, or the sub was just pulling too much power out... Did you try to hook the sub up on one channel instead of bridged and did that fix the fuse problem?

You could always get another one of them subs at dual 2 ohm coils, and series them to run at 2 ohms!

Can either make it 4 ohm load, or 1 ohm load.... no 2 ohm

He bought a new amp... I am going to hook it up for him tomorrow.... I found out that this kid steals ALOT of shit... I was talking to another kid (Daniel) on the soccer team and he said that yesterday the kid I sold the amp to (Robert) left where they were hanging out early and made up some excuse, turns out he scoped out that Daniel had a zune in his truck, and STOLE it outta his truck. Daniel told me the story today and I told him to go ask Robert indirectly if it was him.... He went up to Robert and asked him if he had seen anyone around his truck yesterday when he left early cause his zune wasnt there when he got in to leave... Robert was like "oh yeah, hahaha, I have your zune in my truck, I took it as a joke. Here it is I was going to give it back to you today".... He has like 8 ipods that he is trying to sell all stolen, and get this. At homecoming he waited till all the girls were dancing, and him and some of his friends went around and stole shit outta their purses.... That is fucked up.... Anyways, this is the last favor that I am going to do for him is hooking up his new amp. I dont want to associate with this kid anymore. ESPECIALLY after what happened to my car.

Like I said, I would have taken pictures if I had flash... But I told him that he needed to un hook everything and install it right. So the next time I saw it, it was better but still not good. Alright, I decided since my car got broken into to sell all my shit... So I found a buyer right away for my soundstorm amp, and I took the amp outta my car in working condition... He had some douche that thought he knew what he was doing bridged it at 2 ohms from the sub. The amp can only bridge 4 ohms.... It played for a song he said and then went into protect.... It will play for a few seconds then go into protect hooked up normally (2 ohms coming out of one channel) and he seems to think it was my fault. I look at the job that they did.... HORRIBLE. They drilled a hole in the floor of his truck and "placed" the wire in the hole PLACED!!!!! it wasnt bolted down or anything, it was just sitting in the hole! The power wire had wires touching other parts of the amplifier and he has the balls to tell me that it is my fault and I sold him a bad amp. I pulled that amp out last friday night before my shit got stolen and it worked fine... I dont know what I am going to do with this kid, he is threatening to send his brother my way to beat my ass... I told him to have his brother call me and I would explain the shittiest hook up story I have ever witnessed and he called me telling me that I owe him some money.. Then after he started to realize that I was right he went from trying to get all his money back to getting 20 bucks back... I said fuck that and told him again that it was not my fault, and he said that he would call me later about it. bitches

I never even powered the amp on man... I got the amp yesterday afternoon from my buddies dad and installed it at like 12 last night, then when I wake up to go power it on I find this. Its not even really the amp that I am pissed about, it is the back seat. That shit is going to be expensive... I saw they tried to get into the trunk through the key lock (tried to pop the trunk through the lock) and there is some metal that is scratched up but the obviously couldnt get in that way. I decided that I am done with car audio now. I am trying to get rid of my CVR's and I sold my Soundstorm amp today... I havent checked to see if my rear 6x9 is still installed or if they saw it or not. I have the bottom plate of the AMP so if I see any of these amps anywhere missing the bottom plate, im going to check the serial number.

Is the serial number on the amp anywhere?

Didnt even run any juice to the amp yet. I was waiting till day time so I could adjust everything out.... The bottom plate is still in my trunk, they couldnt get to that. I feel like I just handed someone a thousand dollars for nothing. That is prolly about how much it will take to fix it... I am OUT of money and I dont know what to do now. Just makes you feel like you cant own nice things...
