  1. Alright, just got the battery today... Since I already have the wire ran back there, how big of a fuse to I need to put on the 4awg wire up by the battery that is under the hood?
  2. 4 AWG wire is already ran to the back. I dont ever listen to anything or have anything running when the car is off so I dont run my battery dead intentionally. I just need extra juice for at night when I run the HID'S subs, stereo, dash lights stuff like that... It drops right now from 14.4 to less then 11v, I believe cause my front battery has a dead cell. Runs fine in the daytime though.
  3. So there is no need to run the NEG from the battery? I can just use the amp wire I have ran to the trunk from under the hood and I should be fine as long as I ground the trunk battery in the trunk and hook the POS wire from the hood battery to the POS on the trunk battery? Also there is no need to add a battery isolator? And there shouldnt be any problems with my charging system?
  4. I am driving a classic car, and I have a 12 volt set up and everything and the car has an alternator on it and everything. I have one battery in the car right now, but I wanted to run wires to the trunk and have another battery in there as well. I dont want to hook anything up to this second battery (like and amp or any other electronics in the car) I just want it to be used as a back up battery for the one under the hood. Basically so if the one under the hood gets low on juice when I am bumping at night with my head lights on and everything my stuff wont shut off or drop volts. What is the best way to do this?!
  5. Sounds like with what you want to do with uploading and downloading videos you perfectly described what the Asus Eee will do for you. Also you can get two of them for less then 800 bucks!
  6. I received the Asus Eee 1000HA for christmas. It is the ten inch screen with the 6 cell battery. I am actually typing this post on it. You can get them off of buy.com for cheap. That is where I got mine. It is less then 400 dollars now and about 5 times better then the Eee's that bestbuy carries. The ones at best buy dont have the atom processor, the webcam, the 6 cell battery and I dont believe they have the dolby sound room technology but i could be wrong on that dolby part. Anyways I get about 5 and a half hours surfing the web and chatting with friends online which isnt bad at all. Apparently they started selling these little things late spring early summer of 2008, and the 1000HA's just came out in October I read somewhere. If you are looking at getting one, I do recommend getting one with the atom processor (only uses 2.5 watts!!!), anything else would be too slow. I also would advise many to do research on these things if you are waiting for dual core. I read many places that there is a atom 330 coming out, which is dual core, but they are not planning on putting them in the netbooks. The reason is because they use over 8 watts of power and would take the battery life down 25 percent at least. I dont know about you but if you use these single core atoms with hyperthreading technology, dual core isnt really a necessity. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
  7. Not that I can tell. The Video card is brand new and I didnt have this problem when I had the other processor in... I just leave music playing all the time right now and have the computer muted, but if I dont have something going then the computer will freeze...
  8. This was a topic I had problems with earlier, but I found a way around it, but I want to fix it now. Basically I got a new processor AMD 4400+ to replace my AMD 3800+ and they are both dual core. The thing is I put the new 4400+ into my computer and when I am not doing anything on my computer such as I close all windows and just shut my monitor off, it will freeze up when I come back an hour or so later to get on it... I go to turn the monitor on and the power light stays amber on the monitor, even if I leave the monitor on the mouse will not move on the screen. I got a tv card soon after I bought the processor and if I left that window up and just minimized the tv picture window it would not freeze the computer. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the deal is and how I can fix it...
  9. I got a 1959 Edsel and I was wondering if anyone could point me to a headlight site that is trustworthy. http://www.automotivelightingusa.com/index...products_id=555 That is the housing that I need for my type of car, but I dont know if that site is good or not, I didnt know if anyone could recommend me a website that they have ordered off of before. Let me know please!
  10. Can anyone help me out? I got 2 cars that I am looking at right now but I wanna know about them. Does anyone have a car fax account they could help me with?
  11. Well I cant remember if I uninstalled the driver, but I am sure that I would have cause I know with any new upgrade you have to do that for a fresh new updated driver... Maybe I was just stuck in shock mode that I got my driver and just threw it in there I cant remember now... I am thinking about getting 2 identical hard drivers in the near future to run in raid 0 so maybe I will just stick it out till then... What is xp live?
  12. Issue is not fixed... I just ran Windows RAM diagnostics from a floppy upon boot and let it go through 2 passes of tests and everything tested fine... I dont believe it was the RAM. My computer did just recently do the BSOD and when I booted it back up it said that I might have possible Hard drive failure and recommends to back everything up. It said it was either that that caused the BSOD or driver conflict which is what I believe the problem is. In device manager it recognizes the new processor and will not let me update the driver, I believe this is cause the driver is the most up to date one. Also the computer never freezes while I am on the computer, only while it is idle...
  13. Alright, so I now have the mem test on a floppy and the next time it locks up I will restart and boot from floppy to see if it is the ram. I hope not cause this is brand new ram
