I just may need to get really creative to get my subs to fit somehow

Def not taking the seat out I'll just figure something out, I wanna glas to. Make it look as clean and natural as possible

Whatever fits, may need to fire up or have to extend the box a little further out from the seat to get the room to fire forward

Even if you do a glass box I was thinking of glossing th entire floor so I can get every inch possible. Also you now how many inches it is from the floor to The bottom of the Seat? Like at the front of the seat

Anyone played with boxes under the rear seat in the new silverado ext cabs ? About how much airspace can you get under. I know it will be slightly different than the space under my 06 seat and I'm trading up for a 2012 in the spring wondering how much space I will have to work with

Chances are if you made the box to sealed specs you will need more airspace to have a proper ported box. Find out what's recommended for those subs and figure out what you need for space. Then what's the size of each chamber now.

What reason could you have to hate any team that much. Everyone outside new England's just jealous haters. Pats have consistently been a great team for over 10 years get used to it.. So why not hate the first receiver to get a concussion which started all the new cant hit a defenseless receiver rules, why? Because your haters. Giants rematch would be dope but Brady playin the 9 ers who he originally wanted o play for who passed up drafting him in 6 rounds. He's from the San Fran area plus he 9ers haven't been good for a long time I'd rather see them make it they deserve it more

Giants pats rematch is what's gonna happen honestly don't know who will win but it will be pats giants flacco is too inconsistent and the giants are more balanced than the niners

If Shaub was there they would have won, oh well looks like the pats will have to embarrass the ravens like we did to the broncos and return to yet another Super Bowl

Those best results on the meter or overall sound quality in the truck? I'm not looking to compete at all I just want the best sound to the ear Loudest to ear, i never put them on the meter.most builds were just for daily. Is that just loudest for the driver or passenger as well. I want it to be as even as possible throughout the truck. I know it won't sound as good sitting n the back, never does but I want the passenger to be able to enjoy it as much as me

If I don't have the room to port them I might do the 3 sealed but 3 will be it I'm guessing I can get about 3.5 cubes under the backseat so would probably be just under 3 after port and sub displacement but this is just a pure guess based on the volume of my downfire box I have now + usable space gain from a glassed box formed to the floor and wider my downfire could be about 3-4" wider in each side

I'll be using the same subs I'm running now, dc level 3 10s with level 4 soft parts I have 3 of them A while back I was thinking or getting one more but I won't have the room for that. 3 will be pushin it.

Anyone had experience with subs under the rear seat of an extended cab? My options will probably be subs up towards the bottom of the seat port forward or port to one side firing towards the door or ports out each side. Other options are subs forward and ports to one or both sides I don't think there would be room for subs and port forward anyone played with any of these options? If so what got the best results?

That's coming out really good man. Mines going to be a little tough since I will have a little more room to work with than you but I'm trying to get 3 10s under there haven't decided where the subs and port will face probably won't have options most likely will be subs forward port or ports out to the side or sides.

Haha so I get the feeling everyone wants me to do it myself, I might end up doing just that. Point taken, but could anyone still chime in that might have an idea of how much a shop or box builder would charge?

I hear you with making cuts but the wood part is not really what Im worried about. Not sayin I make a perfect cut everytime but I worked in carpentry for a year and have a friend thats been doing it for 6 years and I was thinkin of using 3/4 mdf possibly 1'' But all I will need for wood (if the box gets designed how Im thinking) will be the front face of the box so the shape of the floor to the bottom edge of the bench seat and I think somewhere around 50-54' wide then the top of the box which would be under the backseat so same width by maybe 12-15 inches so one sheet of wood will do it

me too thanks man, Thats why Im starting the planning and everything now I wont even have the new truck until april or may ish so Im lookin to have all summer to make this happen
