Little beasts! Box is cool as.
Those 1508s are quite a handful to hold
-
Looks killer! How many spiders?
-
Looks great Steve.
It's already kickass and should be even more kickass from what ever you do next to it
-
Aren't they actually made in Mexico?
I used to run four of the (then) entry level TS-W306C. They used to hammer. Anyone who has seen the youtube videos would have seem them slamming. And I still could do 148dB from them. Their new stuff well.. You get what you pay for...

Hell yea go Aus!
Thanks for the comments guys.

A decentish 10" woofer (nothing spectacular just something reliable you can test with)
An amp that makes 1000w or so (Doesn't need to be lots at this stage)
A good battery and cables for amp (Doesn't need to be crazy because the system won't be crazy yet)
Battery charger to keep battery topped up and multimeter to monitor voltage during runs
Termlab + Laptop + Pen and paper to record scores and specs
Wood for lots and lots and lots and lots of boxes. You must build lots and lots of boxes and spend hours and hours testing to learn the ropes. You will not get loud without building lots of boxes!! The small system is a good way to learn the basics to use on big systems later. You should gain at least 5dB from your first box to your final box.
You don't need the best gear in the world to get loudish and learn what works. I did my fun with a $60 pawnbroker sub and 1990s 25w Soundstream amp. The box I spent sooo long working on!

Baha sucked in.
I do the exact same thing, except I do it to my parents instead

Thanks guys
Iam curious how the car audio scene is out in AustraliaThe scene is fairly big over here but nothing compared to the US. The scene is different in a way that there are not as much ground pounders and very few daily driven walls. Nobody designs their systems to play crazy low over here. Alot of them are designed to chase numbers in dB Drag competition but I am not fussed by the numbers at all and listen to and drive mine daily so it's gotta be fun
There are a couple of us who are building groundpounders and I know a few of them frequent here but we are only few
getting this stuff shipped over there has got to cost a bundleAnything at this level is going to cost a bundle anyway but if you save up you may as get what you want. DD is probably one of the cheapest US products I can get ahold of because we have quite a market of DD over here. I would love to try all kinds of brands out just to see how they are, I like to collect car audio buy being on the wrong side of the world hurts
wut subs were u gonna use?.
The six DD Audio 3515 dual 1.5ohm are very close I'm told. I ordered them with the carbon fibre and stuff
I ordered dual 1.5 so each amp will see 1ohm. Right now the single amp sees 1.33. The 2515s in this vid are dual 4ohm, but still great subs.
What's the gorilla Zoe song in the first vid? It's called 'Do It', I got it off a DJ Smallz mixtape
We did a hairtrick on music last night but it was too dark to video. I'll try and get one soon
Thanks guys

Nah mate it's all good. I eat Kangaroos and have barbies all the time
I actually from Australia, that's why it's RHD. It's no drama just seeing if you're awake
Cheers
