With a sub box the glue is what holds it together, not the screws. A lot of people make the mistake of putting 10000 screws in a box when the extra screws are unnecessary and may actually weaken the joint.

W7 all the way. Kicker L7s aren't build as strong as a W7.

Z1a is also dead, has been dead over a month now. It's dead for the second time. Not really liking car audio right now. Next car might be a Nissan Yoot but haven't decided yet still in planning stages.
-
Volvo is dead, I'm using it for a bonfire I'm going to have to build another car plus my mate and I will be building another car to replace the van which is also dead, Very busy this summer,
-
Here's a quick video of my mate's old BassRacer before he rolled it. You may rememeber it from a few threads back. It's personal best was 153.5dBdB @ 34Hz on discharged batteries and warm gear And over 150dB @ 25Hz too Was a nice sounding car that's for sure.
Tell me what you think
Cheers

DD isn't too bad I have a few DD products but am I always looking for something better. (currently dissapointed with my system )

Steve Doesnt Compete anymore, so there is no problems with the box past the window line.
Even besides that, it's SuperStreet 3-4 no matter how high the box is so the wall makes no difference in classes. But who really cares, if I had that system I wouldn't even worry about putting it in dB Drag. Doing demos is 100x better

Sealed actually has less power handling than a correctly designed and build ported enclosure...
-
Not sure if you mentioned it, but what are the DC Subs for?
-
I'd rather nice rims that are tasteful a few inches smaller then massive tacky rims anyday!
-
We had the problem with our Bassracer where you keep overshooting the class. Kept turning it down but it kept holding a 151 or a 150.x when we wanted 149.9
-
Because you hate giving people rides so you took all your seats out and replaced it with a 'big speaker box'
-
What can I say? Looking good as usual!
-
Heh heh heh, that was cool

That's why I love Car Audio. No time for relationships.
I know my system will never cheat on me and it NEVER gets jealous when I get curious and demo other people's systems
-
Just tell your mum that it ran outside. Problem solved
-
Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I ran a single 9915 off the Z1a @ 0.5 ohms which I figure must have been a tad over 5kwrms and the sub finally 'woke up' but regardless, what's the point of having a sub that soaks up all that power when you can have one that uses half and does more or less the same thing?

digital designs are very loud
It really isn't all that great. I'd trade all my DD stuff in a heartbeat for some of the other brands you guys have available. But over here we don't have much choice.
-
DD subs have a stupidly high fs which would suck for trying to play really really low music. I mean they will do it but will have a hard time. My buddy smoked his 9918 playing White Girl
I'm looking at getting rid of my DD subs anyway and getting something like 16 12"s..
-
It's not even an electrically powered speaker. It's powered by a hidden cam similar to the subwoofer the Mythbusters built. I don't believe it would do 180+dB more like 160ish.

Looks great, however I'd be a little wary of that slot port being so narrow..

My neighborhood is a shit hole anyway!
