What did you expect, cmon, look at it?

This site has always been great and is continuing to get better. I love the atmosphere about this place the most. It's very relaxed and chilled out. Awesome

Pepsi is a vile substance, will refuse to drink that junk.
Coke all the way, I use to be addicted!

Thanks.
Take a look at Frankie Rio's old clamshell, too.

I just want your F-150's license plates. Did you have those fitted back in the SQ days?
-
So what brought on the transition from SQ to Ground Pounding Randy?
-
Looking good mate just those angles on the back look like a bad thing. No chance in getting more room?
Neil's just to add to the thread, hope you don't mind!
-
PS: You're forgetting Neil Barber's Blazer, have you seen it?
-
Yep definitely chuck a tuning piece to the port. The length is determined by enclosure volume and port area (obviously)

Looks killer!!

A great build, not just because of the great quality and such an amazing system.
Moreso because every step of the way is documented, explained and pictures shown explaining what's going on. It takes massive patience to pull something off and a big attention to detail and quality to make it look so proffessional even when it's in pieces! Like they say, it's the bits that you don't see that make the difference on an install.

talk to assman I believe he was able to play below 10hz pretty damn loud :hairtrick:
What I'm saying is that more or less almost no subwoofer can properly produce the ultra low frequency. Sure, you can make a sub 'move' at 5Hz or whatever. Hell when I was younger and far more bored I made a tone disc with 1Hz 2Hz tones etc. 1Hz to 5Hz sweeps over 1 minute all kinds of fun stuff. I played it with bunky ass home speakers and sure they moved lots, didn't mean they were producing sound, let alone at an even respectable level.
Don't underestimate how low 5Hz is. Dropping from 30Hz to 20Hz is a massive difference, From 20 to 10 is just a ridiculous change and below that you're just asking for trouble. The further down you go on frequency the more dramatic each drop goes. I'd hazard a guess at saying most people's would fail trying to produce 20Hz even.
If you're familiar with t/s specs of drivers, you'd understand that fs comes into play, most woofers have an fs between 25 and 25Hz, that's a low playing driver. Some TC Sounds woofers have an fs of low 20s or some in the high teens and they're considered lowest of the low. Trying to produce loud sound below a driver's fs is just asking for trouble plus you need an enclosure design to even allow such a low frequency, not saying it can't be done but it's not as simple as it seems.
Those open-air experiments on Mythbusters etc. make me laugh, how can you build massive sound pressure over a large open area???

Or maybe not...
What I was thinking of...
what's the model number, easiest way to find out!!
-
Definitely not a Reference or Reference Class A, doubt it's a Rubicon. Probably not as old as you think either.
I'd say Van Gogh series.

Digital Designs, way to go!!
Bulletproof woofers and amps that launch cones into the solar system!

There is no car audio subwoofer capable of producing high SPL at below 10Hz. Anything round there is practically going to self destruct your woofers if you play it.
I do believe in the brown note, every object has a resonant frequency. Some scary body parts would be your lungs and also your skull, wouldn't want to find out.

^ I would love to see your car do a Can Trick Oki
Not sure if my Australian cans are heavy or not, I know they're alluminium and 375ml volume.
I think they may be a little too light as they fly around a little crazy. I might try with some different objects when I get a chance.
Thanks

Awesome Steve! Snapping screws sucks, my DDs snapped some screws last week.
Your rims are bad ass, nobody rides round here with rims like those
