I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!!
Rockford Fosgate has chosen to take the Steve Meade Designs crew on and start designing custom Rockford Fosgate products with the SMD influence.
The first shipment of ballpoint pens and mouspads go out on Tuesday!

The Audiocontrol microphone is only as good as the last time it was calibrated. If the owner has the 'close enough' attitude then I doubt the mic has been maintained through its life, so it's probably way out

MM Can't say I'd want that thing..

RF T4001bds
FAAARRK!!
Just when I thought Maria Padilla tested my T40001 to make the most power at 4969wrms you've got one 5kw+
Wicked!
anyone found a T4k that makes more?

Does it have detachable face? Try cleaning the contacts if so.
Sorry to hear about your troubles

Work tomorrow!
FUCK THAT!
Well I don't really hate it that much

Each port there is 6" in diameter. They sit flush with the inside of the enclosure. The port's internal flare has then been fibreglassed and filled to make a smooth entry and exit for the air flow.
The whole inside of the enclosure was glassed then smoothed to a glass like finish with wet and dry sand paper.
Good luck!

Here is the enclosure for my friend's CRX with S10Xs off a Digital Designs Z1. Each enclosure was a touch under 1ft^3 and tuned to an in-car peak of 63-64Hz temperature pending. Strictly an SPL only enclosure, made absolutely no sound playing music at all but would just love to the meter. We even threw in two subs we got for free, subs that were worth about $20 total with cracked cones and missing dust caps and it still managed 144.8dB consistently from it.

Two 15s.
More cone area, more motor area to dissapate heat. However the downside is enclosure volume. If you can't fit two 15s then simply don't buy them because a poor box won't do it justice.

Props to you for driving a big car mate! I will never buy a small, compact car because I value my life too much just to save $20 a week on fuel.
-
That is awesome!
Imagine incorporating those into an install!

You could try some serious round overs on the baffle of the enclosure. Particularly the front edge. Hit that bitch with a 'flap disc' on your grinder to get a serious curve. Cover the whole enclosure with duct tape. Another layer on the baffle so the woofers sit flush may also gain you. Have you removed the rear speakers or deadened the trunk lid yet?

I always seem to lose mine as well. I feel your pain.
It's also bad when you cancel all your cards and everything, then find your wallet the next day stuffed in under your car seat!!
-
If you really desire to build a loud one, lose the 6x9s and build a new box. You'd be surprised how much louder it will be!
-
Too much on Car Audio..
-
I would hate to see the understeer on that thing!
-
Good luck with it holmes!
-
Subs facing up, port as far away from the meter as possible (within reason obviously) will gain you.

Grippin da Grain!

That's awesome! Good on him

I've always been a fan of the humble clamshell
But you can stagger/tesselate those four 15s into a flat wall more than you have.
