    Yes you will pay a little bit more for the Corbon but its WELL worth it

    The hydrashocks are great rounds and they do really well and are reliable

    From the guys i have talked to that run the HST they just have more expansion and create a larger wound cavity which in the name of self defense you want a round that does the most damage because its more likely to stop the threat...

    The Hornady TAP is a VERY reliable round as well and in my personal experience it has performed very well and all the tests i watched for ballistics showed it performs well also

    That's exactly what I am looking for is something that expands more, which is why I want this HST and/or the Hornady stuff. After reading and hearing that the Hydra-Shok doesn't expand like this newer stuff,I want something "better" to say the least.

    @ Born_Again: I would prefer what local LE uses but I don't wanna get 21 questions for asking them what brand ammo they carry is. lol

    Like title states, can a civilian such as myself purchase "LE" ammo? Specifically Federal Premium Tactical HST 165grn 40S&W (P40HST3)

    If so, what legitimate online site can I purchase from? I currently use Federal's 165gn Hydra-Shok round and kinda wanted a personal comparison. If it matters, my gun is a Glock 22 Gen 4.

    You just line the slide up and pull it back to put it back on..

    You were dry firing it after you pulled the slide release down right??

    I did per instructions to ensure it was unloaded. Bad idea?

    Well if you were firing it to see if it was unloaded then yeah bad idea lol..

    but to remove the slide pull the slide back, check that its unloaded push the slide release down and hold it down, now let the slide foward then pull the trigger all while holding the release down.. the slide should pop off..

    I got it back together now but I just tried the method you said above and that worked also.

    Wait, so being a soldier gives you superiority over us civilians? That alone is the reason I don't respect cocky soldiers like you. Before you say anything else, I didn't ask you to "serve", sorry bra... You seem to act like your the man when it comes to this knowledge. Your mind set is based off of what some high-up tells you to believe.

    pretty sure he didnt say anything about being a soldier, so you are looking far left of what hes saying, and forming your own conclusion about him based on his question.. he was asking if the kid has first hand knowledge that none of us know about, and asked if he was military. Does that also mean he holds a government position at the capital as well? since he said it...

    maybe hes just well informed with reliable resorces, which, he has asked tons of times for yall to prove the resources you get your information from, yet none are reliable. Its like taking info off of youtube.. cant trust it..

    @nautical7 - Same goes for America, we would be sad puppies without China. Doesn't mean they can't side with another country. Tensions are already growing in the Asia-Pacific region.

    The problem is if Israel attacks Iran we follow. Jews control our government, So hopefully they don't.

    I'm with you 100% on this. Like the soldier who got censored said, "Israel is more than capable of engaging Iran on there own." Or something to that extent.

    I personally think broke ass America should sit this one out and let Europe/Israel handle some business. But Zionist blahblahblah...

    Since when do China and Russia have Iran's back? Some of you guys are just WOW!!

    China may outnumber us, but their military technology is still behind ours. We have systems that nobody knows anything about, and i'll stop there.

    As for Russia? Who fucking cares. Their military structure and discipline is shit. If it went down, they wouldn't last long before troops started surrendering.

    But neither one of them is an "ally" to Iran, so meh.

    If it went down, US and Russia would literally cease to exist as countries. I'm sure China would back Russia 100%.

    OT: Iran is very, very stupid for making threats against the Navy. I imagine them stupidly sinking a destroyer or something and then getting fucked. lol
