Ok today i was at the store and we fixxed some stuffs with the ports... Now they look like this= insted of Also i found out i have to charge my cap before i use it or it wont work LOL! Lets hope this helps now If it all sounds good vids will be coming.

well i payed quite a bit for this box (i know i should have made it myself) The shop that built it is gonna help me fixxing it for free.. But they are pretty slow.... So would increseing the lenght of the ports help with the tuning?

yeah thats true.. my misstake.

I tried making my box in MDS probox and it seems its tuned to around 50hz.. Would adding longer ports help getting the tuning down? Btw. It sounds ALOT better now that ive played the sub a while. But the air blowing noice from the ports is still there :/

Okay.. So i got the sub today.. And it sounds SHIT! Going back to the store tomorrow to see what they can do... Even my old Punch p2 sounds better atm.. I have theese blowing noices out of the ports and it just dosent sound right... Anyone here know if it has with the short ports to do?

Exactly. Its in the read deck.. and thats where the ports will be facing up the thing i use for noice reduction is named vibroplast

So.. Im getting a new sub + amp the 25th this month(paycheck time) And i would like some opinions of it... Anyhow its a T5001bd monoblock from rockford (930W RMS one). And a RF t115D2 in a bandpass box with 2*4" ports facing up into the car from the trunk. Now to the question.. Will this sub sound REALLY loud? Atm i have a crappy 300W rms gas silver amp and a punch p2 sub.... also some amp questions... what is Thermal Status ? Anyhow i got hold of some pics of my new made box.. The local retailer did help me to build it NOT ME ON THE IMAGE.. Its my brother.. so you have something to compare it with But as i said.. I cant afford it untill the 25th.. so no videos b4 then.. I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW IT WILL SOUND

btw.. About powering the amp. Will a 16mm power cable and a 1.5F capacitor do? i only have a 8mm atm without a capacitor
