shirt 2 is cool, but needs some work. Like have the DC logo like it is, but have the chick ghosted in (up the transparency).
I agree. The DC Audio logo should stand out and the chick should be transparent.
It would also be nice to have an additional DC Audio logo on the back (maybe in transparent or small somewhere).

I like #2 and #6 but my vote goes to #2 because it would be a nice shirt to wear to strip clubs

Good video sir! Everything was easy to understand.
My favorite video from your youtube channel was probably:
The phase angels and power factors were interesting.

For those of you guys with the yellow tops, did you notice a big difference when you switched to the xs power?
I forgot
I still have my yellow top sitting on the charger in the garage and been meaning to add it to the trunk with the XP3000 but haven't had time to do it

Does that include shipping as well?
I am wondering also. If it does, I will get one for shits and giggles.
I already have deadening in my trunk from the facebook giveaway

Hey Steve, you should do a video with $300 worth of one dollar bills. It would be nice seeing dollar bills fly everywhere

I just watched through that entire video and was shocked at the prices for some of those computers

I can't remember the exact model and specs of my first computer but I know it was an IBM and had those BIG floppy drives each one containing a cool game
The other computer we had was running windows 1995 and I remember having a lot of fun ripping apart the left and right edges of the printer paper. What were those called? it had lil holes in them.

Going to thread jack my own thread so I don't have to create a new thread.
The box CJ18 built for me is tuned to 35hz. My old box was tuned to 30hz. Subsonic filter is currently set to 25hz.
Should I set my subsonic filter to 30hz for the new box?

I am doing some rewiring and was wondering if the positive at the amp is one big block and vice versa for the negative. In other words, does it matter where the positive from sub 1 and sub 2 plug into at the amp's positive inputs?
Diagram 1
Diagram 2:
Method 1 (my old method) - I have twisted the 2+ and 2- together and ran them into 1 speaker output.
Method 2 (trying to do) - I will wire each sub in series on its own up to 2 ohms (diagram 2). I will then parallel them at the amp (diagram 2) BUT my question is, does it matter which positive input I plug it into at the amp?So looking at Diagram 2, would it be bad if the negative orange and negative blue wire switch places at the negative input of the DC5K amp?

It would be sweet of some people to upgrade membership to help our with that cost *cough cough*
Good luck and thanks for the upgrade.
what i gain with a paid membership i LOSE with the google ads so its really a wash on that. But i still bring in enough to take care of it. Also, Kyle is NOT cheap but he is worth it 1000x fold. He is basically a genius. So i don't mind spending it when i have to.
Another way to reel in cash is to have companies pay you to have their third party cookies installed on your forum. Just fyi

I think you have Google Analytics installed on this forum right? You can view what kind of browsers people are using to visit your website in it

By the way, I removed the videos because the sub wiring wasn't correct and may have skewed the results =P
I will do another clamp test at the end of season when in CJ18's box.
Good. Because something was wrong there....
Best of luck. Have you posted pics of the Cody built enclosure yet? Id love to see it..... Im sure its dead bang, and top tier work, knowing the little i do about the man.
Anyway best of luck..
I've uploaded the pictures here:

My subs are now firing towards the rear.
A basketball is keeping the box from sliding to the right and into the spare tire well area ~_~

Thanks for the nice informative video and data. I do have a question though, What were the strand counts for the CCA and OFC wire tested and what brand of wire were they?

Happy new year!

Nice video but I was sad when Santa's slay didn't move across the room

I wouldnt trust the oscope. You need to be using True RMS tools. a TRMS Volt Meter and TRMS clamp meter.
I bought this oscope years ago after reading all of the hype from this thread

Is this oscope no good?
Issues with bass knob using max settings at any position
in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Posted
Anyone have issues with their bass knob where no matter where you turn it, it would use its max settings randomly?. I think mine has a contact issue and would cause it to randomly play at max settings no matter where I turn it at times. Is there a way to fix this? Lately I've just been leaving it on max and lowering my subwoofer bass from the headunit. It would be nice to have a working bass knob again.
