  7. yep. thats the only answer to give someone. because that way your never wrong
  8. 27h 51w 12d port 25.5h 4.5w 20l you end up with 6.44 cuft tuned to 33hz
  9. what do you want it tuned to, and how do you want the subs and port placed
  10. heres what you do. get an english teacher to teach you how to write in english. that way when you use a tape measure to build your box, you'll know that it say 34.3/4 and not 33.4/4. hahahahaha just messin with you. but seriously what are the dimensions you have to work with?
  11. whats the make and model of your amp
  12. is it a mono block amp, if so theres your answer.
  13. man the best thing to do is check out the sub sites and do your own research. 50% or more of the people on here will say dc. others will say dd, re, a few will say memphis. do your own research and make your own decision. and dont go off what everyone else says just because they use that brand. dd, dc, re, memphis and a bunch of other companies make great products, so dont count out any of them until you research them
  14. ok. thats where the confusion came in. earlier you said you clamped them. and yes what nightshade said is correct about doing them at different times. but the way you put the info in your earlier post was that you just clamped them. thats why i said what i did. i was just taking what you said as literal. and he was correct when he said you use it as an expression.
  15. did you clamp the + and - the get the voltage or did you use the leads
  16. he already did. in post three. that was the first question i asked him.
  17. i have also clamp several amps. i understand that you compete so do i. and while he may get close to the same results, i have personally seen the readings differ to much between clamping the speaker wire vs using an actual dmm to get the voltage. thats the only part im talking about. yes his numbers seem close to what the should considering the small box volume and rise he is seeing. and i dont normally take offense, it was the way you came across in your post. thats all.
  18. he did them one at a time, with a single meter. im not arguing im stating a simple fact. read then type. i know what ohms law is. and i also know he says he put the clamp meter on the sub wires to get his voltage. so try to impress someone else, i know how to read
  19. so have i. but look how he said he tested it. i dont know about you but i would rather retest it the right way to make sure
  20. is it still avaiable?
  21. the box that everyone but you is using, tends to be the loudest. hahaha
  22. just read this. it will walk you through it http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/enclosu...ndImpedance.asp
