ust make a top section for the top of the port and as for the front panel make it one big piece and use a router to cut out the opening for the port

also you can try making a port thats 15x14, then you wont have to worry bout not having the room for the subs

what vehicle is this going in? if its for a suv then do subs up port back. put 2 subs on each side and your port directly in the middle.

I've been doing this for 15 years, and it's real simple, a person using winisd isnt going to worry about applied power. a good box builder as you say would only use winisd for a basic normal build. your not going to use winisd when designing a box like the one in my yukon. your not going to use it when designing a wall. there's too many varibles when building those types. so once again he's asking about winisd not bass box or bass box pro. winisd is a great program for normal non power insane builds. but your 5 years trumps my 15 years. i guess i'll turn all my customers to you from now on. i guess all my usaci wins and state records were flukes. man i wish i knew then that i was building boxes wrong

The only time it's relavent is if he's running more then rated power. If he gets specs for the subs he's using he doesn't need to worry about it. Each sub has different specs, look at dd the 500 series has different specs then the 9500 series. Now are you going to build a box for a 500 series based on 9500 specs? No your not, and your not gonna run 5000 watts on a 450rms sub either. So for the average box build you don't have to worry about power app. So the only noob comment is yours. How many boxes have you bulit anzo? So before you go running your mouth think first.
