the fosgate will be better for a 14v system. will produce more power. but if your going with 16v down to .35 ohm burps the memphis will hands down smoke the piss out of the fosgate power wise.

sealed on dash driverside door open

alright so i built a box 2 days ago for 2 MA Audio 1800xl's and have hooked up 2 fosgate 1500's at 2 ohm each so im seeing around 3000 watts. metered it today and hit a 149.9 sealed on the dash and hoping to tweak some more and reach 150. i hit 150 with the driverside door open but that doesnt count. i have pictures and a video so ill post that later on when i get home. BOO YA!

that sub is the MA Audio 1800xl. XL series. not the big hk series. 350 oz mag compared to the 620 oz mag on the HK series 18.

just get alcohol 120% and use its image drive to install the image file on your computer.

well so far im up to a 144.9 by positioning the sub in a different position. next i might try box mods to see if it helps. LOL

well of course the sound quality isnt as good as the treo BUT its not bad at all considering the price of them. it definetly wangs though. im impressed.

as the title says. today i took out my Treo SSX's and the big ass box and put my MA Audio 1800xl in my single Treo ssx18 box in the back now. powering it off the old Fosgate 1501bd. well to my suprise i hit a better number sealed on the dash than i did in the same box with the Treo on an mtx 1501d. Vehicle... 2000 Cadillac Escalade box specs... 4 cubes tuned at 34hz amp specs... 1500 at 2 ohm sub specs... dual 4 wired to 2 ohm with the Treo my best sealed on the dash was a 143.2 today i decided to mess around and meter it and well to my suprise i hit a 144.5 with my cheap MA Audio 18 that people said cant be loud. on music i did a 144. so keep in mind the more expensive a woofer is doesnt mean its louder if your goin to be loud on a mic. heres the sub Proof for the non-believers.
