I totally agree man..when im whamin im not trying to turn my shit down a couple mins into the song worrying about my subs frying. Thats the main reason i opted for only runnin 2500 rms to my btls instead of 5k rms. The extra couple dbs just dont make up for being able to play it at full tilt for 15 minutes plus. This class would really favor other people similar to my situation who would account for a large group of new competitors. Im all for this and i think its a great idea. They each do need a recone and for those who may not know they can cant bought from Fi for $110 each or you can send them to Fi and they do it for free if you pay shipping. Im asking $300 plus shipping on each of these and im pretty firm and not open to any trades. I will do $550 plus shipping for the pair. Your right sorry brother didnt read just read the box dimensions at the bottom of your first post. Still i dont see it being an issue space wise, when people have ideas of throwing a shit load of subs in a vehicle people always like to say it wont fit before they even take the time to calculate out the avaliable space. Anyhow ported it should pound man! I had 4 12prs off a jbl 1200.1 sealed non walled and i was a hitting 146. Then stepped it up to 4 15' pr's ported walled and hit 148's. Overall great subs for the money. In my books best subs for under 80 bucks each.

No offense man but you have 1700 posts and your asking us if this is a good first system? Anyhow sounds good if your looking for that "wow" factor and still sound pretty nice. The PR line subs are very decent for the price and can handle up to 400rms of clean power. Amp wise each of those amps on 4 should power them nicely. good luck and keep us updated...

Oh shit i just realized you said 6 15's not 6 12's my bad. But actually my friend has 6 15in mmatts off 3 jl1000/1's and my 2 btls still were louder. Heres his wall in his tahoe

I say two 18's. I went from 6 12in l7's walled to 2 18in btls and saw a big difference. Hell even one of the 18's could hang with the 6 12's. Then again the 18s were ported and 12s were sealed. None the less the 18s would have been louder even if the 12's were ported.

Hey guys tomorrow morning im looking at buying this tahoe. Take a look at the listing of it off craigslist. Hes asking 12,200 but im gonna try and get middle 11's for it. http://medford.craigslist.org/car/731473320.html I know 12 sounds high for a gas guzzler these days but ive been looking at getting an suv now for a good year. I told myself i wouldnt settle for anything unless it had all i wanted and it has it all. Im gonna sell the 22's and throw some 6's or 8's on it. Also it has a third row seat which i could sell and get a couple hundred for due to the needed room for my bass. Let me know what you guys think of it. I took a peak it at yesterday and the interior was imaculate. Im gonna take it for a test drive tomorrow in the AM and if all goes good ill buy it. Thanks

I agree its pretty expensive. Just hittin up the driving range isnt to costly but playing at a nice course is gonna cost you.

Hey guys I have a question for ya on A pillers. I was quoted $1000 dollars by a member on here for a pair of custom A pillers for a yukon with a 3 inch driver and 1 in tweeter in it. I asked him to make it identical to steves setup. Does anyone else find this redicously overpriced or is that about fair? thanks
