i just did the bench test and the power and protect light both are blinking back and forth. anyone else had this issue or know what it is?

all right thanks for the help guys. ill try the bench test but if its something i cant repair it really aint worth sending out a 7 year old amp when i can buy a new (shittier) one for the cost of the repair

ya i thought that maybe the power or remote was grounding, but i check and rechecked those wires they are fine, my 4 channel amp is still working fine off that remote and main power cable

what would happen if i put a higher rated fuse in those slots ?

ya disconnected the speakers and as soon as the remote turns on the amp i heard a little fizz sound looked and all 3 fried again. If it was something internal wouldnt it be visible maybe a black/brown streak or something?

Double checked all wiring again and put in another set of fuses and they blow instantly again. the internals look ok no burnt components at all so whats my issue?

Havent posted in a while but have a question to ask the board. I have a directed 1100d amp from about 5 years ago hasnt really been used much but last week i was bumping a lil bit and the amp cut out so no big deal i checked the fuses they all blew. 3x30amp fuses. so i replace them with new ones and as soon as i turn on my truck they all blow instantly. I checked all my wiring and everything is fine. Does anyone have any suggestions before i put all new fuses in again? Thanks

ya ive been pretty happy with the kicker cvrs. i also got a good deal on mine and ended up buying eight on an autotek mm4000.1. Have it in sealed box, but still hits about 148 on a TL. like derrick says best bang for your buck

damn its definately the wrong color code. the car comes with two tone seats, and i dont want to make them 3 tone. Thanks though good luck with the sale.

Ya i ran across that one but considering I only paid $90 each originally in 2006, the price of 115+30(shippin) for an old model doesnt make sense. I was trying to determine if I would need to spend that to get what I want. Thanks for the help. Any more suggestions

Looking for a 15" kicker cvr dual 4 ohm 2005 model new or used. I believe the model number is 05CVR154. Due to the cone design change in 2007 I dont want to install the new model with my old ones. I blew one out of eight and replacing one will be a lot cheaper, but its turning out to be a lot harder. If anyone has any leads could you let me know Thanks
