If you are worried about how much electrical you have you could just run a smaller amp. That is a lot of power, you probably wouldn't be disappointed running the SCV-2000d. Just my opinion though.

Thanks, I really want to go bigger, if I have to I will go with the 2000d I just really wanted to push this thing to its max potential.

When I was looking to upgrade my sub stage I wanted to run a zv4 15 on a scv 3k. So I called sundown and they recommended I get the nsv2 coil for that sub because it allows the sub to handle more power. I been beatin on this setup daily for bout a month now and it does just fine. Sub hasn't got stinky once

I've ran a pair of x18s daily for over a year. They are great subs and can definitely take more than rated power.... But 2 1500s is without a doubt too much to be running to one of these subs daily. Just my .02 cents...

Where are you located at? My aunt lives near ft Lauderdale in Florida and they go marlin fishing all the time. Had one jump out the water and spit out my my line the first time I went with them. That's my luck with fishing though lol

Yea that's happened to me more than once lol. It's cool to see fish jump out of the water but that's when it's most likely to spit the hook. I'm in St. Croix VI
