If that's the case then why do so many members here mount tweets in the pillars or sails and midbass in the door? Or are you just bein smart? I can't tell.
  2. catch 22
Ditch the 4x6 speakers in the dash and put the tweets there. That's what I did. They sound good and easier a than hacking up the doors

Does the new rev2 surround require the new basket or can it fit on the old basket?

I have a zv4 15 on a sundown 3k and it does just fine. Haven't had a single problem. No experience with the nsv3 though. But I've seen people on the interwebs push a lot more than 3k

Currently I'm running two sets of tweets on a fosgate t600-4 and two sets of mids on a t600-2. Thinking bout switching out the power amps for a sax200.4 so I have Matching sundown amps and more headroom. But If I keep the power amps then I will have to sell my scv3k and get a 2500bdcp so I'll have all Rockford Thoughts?
  14. catch 22
It's it a good idea to run the sax200.4@ 2ohms? I plan on running two sets of mids on 3/4 and two sets of tweets on 1/2. Any problems with heat, distortion, reliability at 2 ohms? Thanks.

Is the "rated" power handling still 3k?

First time I ever heard a system with bass, I was in 6th grade. My best friends uncle at the time had an old suburban with 4 alpine type r 15s in two separate boxes. Had to be first gen type r's? This was back in 03. I thought that was the coolest shit ever lol. Been hooked ever since

Thanks, I really want to go bigger, if I have to I will go with the 2000d I just really wanted to push this thing to its max potential. When I was looking to upgrade my sub stage I wanted to run a zv4 15 on a scv 3k. So I called sundown and they recommended I get the nsv2 coil for that sub because it allows the sub to handle more power. I been beatin on this setup daily for bout a month now and it does just fine. Sub hasn't got stinky once
  20. catch 22
But but but I seen guys on the internet do it
  21. catch 22
