so i was on my way downtown and saw this place that selled alternatos. since i need one, i decided to get some quotes. aigh, lets see... car : 95 Sentra i got a quote for a 170 amp alt for around $600 <== no mods required the other quote was for a 210 alt for around $1,000 <== custom with bracket, and internal regulator. i believe these numbers are at mid-high rpm's. do ya think these quotes are fair, or are they overpricing?
