been talking with XS, about to pull the trigger on 4 banks of caps that way they're standing by when I get home, and then I'm gonna work on getting some Havocs I don't really want to go through and update all of the pictures to get rid of the photobucket trash, but I will try to find some time when I am back in the states and able to. This build will be revived!

i doubt it's the age of the DD-1, and much more likely to be your stock HU

are you checking for HU volume level distortion, or you've already found that, and now checking LC2, or checking amp? that will also help determine the cause if a new 9v battery doesn't help. They do get sapped pretty quick when they sit, though.

I went to the first Chive Fest in Chicago in '14, and spent the day/night switching between American honey and some other drink that had cabo wabo in it. the honey definitely goes down pretty easy.

we opened up a radar cabinet door to let it cool off cause ventilation in my space is degraded. Access to 50,000 volts. I made a sign for some of the idiots "if you're dumb enough to touch anything in here, you deserve what happens to you." Just like with things you shouldn't eat saying "do not ingest", there are warning signs saying "High voltage", but I feel like there's some tide pod eaters on this ship....

i wouldn't think there'd be any issue with a jump. I have exchanged emails with XS and they have balancing circuitry to keep everything level. here's the thread they started about their "SuperCells" https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194860-xs-power-supercell-ultracap-q-a/
