Loving all of that RF gear! And now I get to rub this in a few peoples face, lol. I used similar speaker enclosure pods in my doors, everyone said they were a waste of time! Well I begged to differ and now that one of the most knowledgeable people in car audio thought it was a good idea, that should prove my point!

A midbass that far back would most likely get drowned out by the subs. If not it would be pulling the sound stage back which does t help for the sound quality. Could be a great place for an extra battery though. Just needs some fab work. I was just thinking about the cancellation when I was driving home, lol. Definitely a canvas for something cool though!

I am a HUGE RF fan, so this build is killer IMO! May not be the loudest, most extravagant build of the month, but without a doubt the cleanest and my personal fav! Love the location of that amp rack, keeps it squeaky clean I would do something with that factory subwoofer in the side panel, maybe a mid bass? Either way, awesome work and great to see your son shares your passion!

I can't believe Lightning Audio is still being made, and am baffled that it's actually good quality, lol. I mean, I had a set of LA 12's in like 03' but I bought them at WalMart, lol. Guess things change... Will look more closely and not dismiss this brand anymore, if it's actually good. To the dickhead that cheated, I hope you clipped them 12's, blew them and the amp in one shot, dick. Steve, mad props for staying true to your word. At least the car audio world has SOME honest people left....

LOL, my neighbor still uses two of them on two older Kenwood Excelon 12's.

My first amp (about 15 years ago), was a Pyramid PB448, the white one with purple fins. Had this on two old school RF Punch 12's in a sealed prefab and thought I was just the cats meow LOL. I can remember my first slight trunk flex and everyone in my neighborhood awwing at it haha! Good times, before I broke my wallet for this passion :/
