yea , just what i expected, cause with what i had(nothing big but still) i was getting dimming and it would drop to 10v will upgraded batt, and H.O., big 3(1ga) and 1 ga. to dist. block cause ill need amp for mids and highs to take care of front stage.

so ima have to take your advise and start small, but i think the big 3 wouldn't be enough for a BTL or would it? not sure on the amp still researching. im not going into any comps. just want strong pounding system

ok so ill just upgrade the alt and batt first. if i see any dimming or voltage drops go with a sec. batt.? have had system id say over 1000 or so and when the lows hit i would see significant voltage drop when at higher volumes but would maintain 13+ at mid levels

after how many watts should 2nd batt. be needed?

what electrical upgrades would be necessary for 2000+ watts. second batt.? H.O. alt. ?

well i want it to sound good all around, nice hard hitting and smooth on the highs i not going to be anal on every little sound. why a BTL? isnt it an SPL base sub? i should also mention its a 01 reg. cab Sierra

ok i have checked it out and heard some good things about it, how about the BL

what subs do you guys recommend i want a mixture of SQ and SPL, that hits looooow and doesnt miss a beat and can take the abuse when pushing it hard.
