  1. this is on the new swishahouse cd-independance day. and yes it does hammer slowed down!
  2. why don't you wait till rusty says he is ready to sell them to the general population? there is no set date yet, just wait like everybody else.
  3. quick vid, car was not liking the atomic at all. new alternator on the horizon for the bassegg. we'll get some better vids in the daylight after the sub loosens up a bit.
  4. good luck with that as the sub is in the box, and it ain't coming out any time soon. and it makes my XL look like a bitch. it makes grady's level 5(that is sold and in dallas getting reconed) look kinda weak. the motor on the 6 is 11" across, its huge. level 5 is 9.8", 4XL is 8.75". level 5 is 80lbs, level 6 is 106lbs
  5. numbers are a few weeks away. but as soon as it finishes processing here is a quick free air video from the garage. atomic 7k at 2ohms, didn't crank it wife and kids laying down. may take a few to process, more vids coming tonight.
  6. level 5...rip. level 6 completely different than level 5, no similarities. other than brand
  7. its a wholly different beast than a level 5, we've been down that road. grady wants to be able to daily on about 7k, level 5 wouldn't appreciate that much
  8. 4 spiders, dual 1 4" 8 layer coils should have a free air video soon...
  9. we did brace the port, will get pic of that later this is not where the box will sit, just have to load the sub there another pic to show scale...with my size 14 DC shoe, had to do it DC skate lab and DC sound lab!
  10. amp and box in. time for energy drinks. sub will be in soon, then............................vids. whose ready for those vids?
  11. Coil is not burnt, its just a darker glue that was used. The sub has yet to see any power as of yet. Grady beat me to it :censored:
  12. i'm starting this thread for bassegg77 as i'm taking pics as we do this. grady(bassegg77) bought a level 6 motor and soft parts from rusty, then bought a tsns basket he found local and built the first level 6 18. this thing is gigantic! it doesn't even look real. its f-ing crazy! power will come from an atomic 7k, should get it to move will be playing tomorrow night, we still gotta make sure everything is cured and set up before we hammer on it. videos of the accent getting beaten to death should be nice. pics... size comparison to a hpi savage x 4.6 1/8th scale rc truck my 3 and a half year old daughter Enjoy! more pics to come tomorrow!
  13. more vids...this time on good power, US Amps AX2000HC only at 2ohms for now.
  14. tuesday...only 2 days mayne. maybe i'll even get froggy and wire to .5ohm for the occasion, depends on if i talk to mike tomorrow i guess, see what he says. but we will be killing burleson on tuesday night!
  15. i just got rid of a brushless associated sc10. that thing was ridiculous, just stupid fast. the next truck i buy is gonna be an axial scx10 with the trail honcho toyota body and a bad ass brushless set up
  16. for racing truggies are the way to go, but for bashing you can't beat a savage. i've back flipped mine into my neighbor's yard hundreds of times and all that ever let go was the tie rods would pop off sometimes(fixed that with a washer) but as for racing i got to use a buddies jammin x1 crt, and that was a smooth drive around the track very well balanced and handled nicely.
  17. pic when i first got it, and made some custom decals for it, i managed a sign shop at the time so i made my own logos and graphics for it. how it looks now just as a suggestion steer clear of traxxas 3.3 powered cars, they have atendency to split the rod down the center and traxxas will make you send them the motor and charge you $115 to get a new one back. my slayer 3.3 had a rod split, i built a new motor with ebay parts. my 3.3 lasted maybe a half gallon, i didn't even get to lean it out before the rod failed.
  18. HPI Savage X 4.6 ftw! that has been my most reliable truck to date, bought it new and have only had to replace very minor stuff. upgrade to robinson racing hardened steel spur gear and clutch bell, get a hitec 7955 tg steering servo and a good 2.4ghz radio, and some better tires and wheels(i run proline dishes and proline bowtie tires on mine). oh and get a extra body, you'll need it, the stock one shreds pretty quick. and DO NOT run traxxas fuel, it sucks, makes the truck hard to tune. i've had awesome luck with byron's fuel(25%). i've had over 40 rc cars and trucks in the last 2 years, i've tried a little bit of everything, and savages are the best.
  19. here's mine its 1 level 4 XL 18, box is 7.1 cubes after displacements @ 31hz. currently running on a crunch pzi 250.2 at 2ohm, this is only til i get my knu 0ga, then i can let my us amps ax2000hc punish this woofer at .5ohm. :hairtrick: heres the vid, will get more, especially when the big power gets put to it...
  20. wife's family is there. i've lived i nd before it ain't bad, boring as hell though. thats why we have been trying to knock out a bunch of installs, cuz im leaving soon.
