I have 4 pre2008 model Mojos for sale. I am asking $245 + shipping for each one. I am only willing to work out a lower price if you buy two or more. Never seen more than 1250 watts each. I am selling these due to airspace problems in my new truck and a smaller box wouldn't really help me. If you are local to Palm Beach Gardens, Fl and would like to buy all four, I will include the box as well. They are Dual 2 ohm subs.

wow interesting thread because I am contemplating the EXACT same thing except I have 4 memphis mojos vs 2 9518s with 5k.. id like to see some peoples opinions on this one

yeah that was my first time ever testing it. I really need a new box design because this one is wayy too big. I want to beable to put my seats up lol. this box was meant for my other truck. I wish I knew someone in my area with a TL. this place wanted $35 to use theirs

yeah, I bought a box design but it didn't work out too well so it kind if discouraged me.. I am back using my old box still lol

So I had my truck metered today, and to my DISAPPOINTMENT, it only bass raced a 147.1 and burped a 150.1 at 40hz. I have (4) Memphis Mojo 15's on 5000 watts so it was quite disappointing.. With that being said, its time to change it up. I have been looking at a few subs and have come up with an idea.. (2) Digital Designs 9518g's or (2) LMS Ultra 18s The LMS are way hard to get for a decent price and I am leaning more towards the DD's I am going to be using 5000 watts at 1 ohm or .5 ohms depending on which is more practical for daily. Any thoughts on which would be better?

I plan on doing it for daily.. I have 2 150 amp alternators, MLA module, and 2 odyssey 2150 batteries.

I was wondering if the Atomic 5000.1 amp is .5 ohm stable and how much power it will put out at 14.4 volts?

I have 3 layers of B-Quiet ultimate all around.. the hummer has a lot of double layered metal areas that are impossible to get to.. especially on the rear like that.

I had a horror story trying something like that. I got another alternator for just my system and didn't wire them both together. Few days go by and my car is really smelling like SHIT.. I couldn't figure out what it was and finally I opened up the back and the batteries were fuming. The alternator wasn't linked to the other one so it had no regulation and was charging the batteries at 17v =x

how would the ohm load change if im just running multiple grounds from my batteries?

Heres the thing, the bolt is attached to the chassis but runs through the sheet metal. Every bolt in the car is like that.. I was considering running the wires under the car but I'm not sure yet if I want to do that. Right now, im running 5000 watts on 1 run of 1/0 to the back and 1 ground lol.. I don't really need more power at the moment but if I ever decide I want to go all out, I would just buy another atomic 5000.1.. great amp doesn't hardly heat up at all.

I actually just got rid of my MCD4KW. I hated that damn amp, the current draw was HUGE. I am now using an Atomic 5000.1.. I don't really have any room to run another wire from the front that's my problem. Is it bad to do two grounds to the same spot? or is it bad to do 2 grounds in general? There are other bolts in the back I can ground to if I were to do multiple but I don't know if that makes it better/worse.

Well, its just a bad smell, they aren't real hot. I have 2 150 amp alternators, stock battery, and 2 odyssey 2150s for electrical. I have a very shitty ground tho.. hummer isnt easy to find good grounds for inside the truck.

haha.. they heat up after like 5 min too.. I guess it is sending a slightly clipped signal. Need more power! I have the electrical for it lol

yeah, its a single baffle but its 1" thick. The size of the box is 18 cubes. way big for my truck but IDC lol.. its tuned to 40hz I believe

yeah, for some reason they are really rare online. all the big systems in my area use memphis tho
