  1. At the shop we always put the loc behind the radio, takes a little longer but then you dont have to re run the rca's if you decide to switch to a aftermarket headunit... And my honest opinion is not to use scotch locks...they suck..will come loose after time or break the wire...T-taps are much easier and more reliable, if you zip-tie the two wires together then they will not come loose...
  2. Ill probably make it...i havent gone since my dad passed away...i need to get out more...
  3. Yeh i guess..id probably ask like 7 for it then, since ill have so much time in taking everything out..there are outdoors everywhere underneath that truck and it sucks pullin all them out...16 6.5's but i suppose i could do it..
  4. I have a 2001 gmc sonoma for sale, it is a 2.2L 5 speed, roughly 119k miles..never had one mechanical problem out of the truck, owned by a older couple before me and they got rid of the truck because of bad knees and not being able to push the clutch in.. Now for the good stuff: sittin on 24x8.5 american racing hustlers with nitto 255/30/24 tires..maybe 5k miles on them.i only drive 1 mile to work everyday and then around town so they and the whole truck doesnt see many miles a week. soundstream sst 6.5's mounted in the doors and sst 4.0's mounted in the dash. Clarion slideface headunit with a peripheral pxp01 ipod connection. 2 RE Sr 15's in a ported box covered in black vinyl and red suede, currently has two soundstream subs in it but they are still owned by the shop i work for, so they must come out. 4 power acoustik sl2-1500's for power, one for the subs and 3 for the outdoor speakers 8 sets of kicker ks60's mounted underneath the truck, one set is blown so im going to go ahead and replace them all with soundstream sst's but the price will go up slightly if i do go ahead and do it before it is sold.. 2/3 drop installed, inner fenderwells were massaged a bit to get as much turning as possible with these wheels... Now for the pics. My bad guys forgot to add a price, i would like to get around 7500 how the truck sits right now..it kbb's for around 5900 stock so i think thats pretty fair.. I also have alot of airbag stuff laying around if anybody is interested in it, control arms, bags, valves tanks and compressors..

  12. Im going to try to glue it back together with some duramix 40/40...we will see how it works out...upon further inspection the spider is seperated from the spider landing and also from the cone...but the coil is fine...ill see how it works out..if not ill find somewhere that can recone it hopefully...
  13. Not really a piece of history but something pretty old..A rockford hx2 18. I went down to st. pete this weekend and went to an audio shop that ajoins a gas station lol..and this was there...so i got it for 60 bucks...Only bad thing tho the cone and spider are seperated...the coil looks fine to me...anybody know where i might be able to get a recone for it or something of that sort? here are some pics of it off my cell phone..On the back of the sub it says it was made in sept of 2000

  16. HAHAHA LMFAO!!! that was a different truck gmonk was talkin about...i seem to kill all my trucks...the starter went out on the other one and the blue lost all pressure in the tank cuz both comps took a shit in daytona beach...an hour from home... aight man will do...gotta talk to bossman first...
  17. lmfao...aint that the troof....i never got to hear yours either...hopefully il get to hear the next one...
  18. I thought they might be factory direct but i wasnt sure...that kinda sucks... Thanks man...im not even sure who shot that video lmao Thanks man.. Thanks bro..i loved that truck but i was so upside down in it i had to get rid of it...then what i traded for got stolen...so i really got ramrodded on that one lmao
  19. mmm...when i get some money..i dont really know what to do with it...do it like the blue truck and run a few subs with a ton of power or run a bunch of smaller subs with less power...like 16 10's on rougly 8k watts or run 4 18's again on the same amount of power...Im trying to get bossman to bring in audioque cuz i really want to run like 16 of those 10's in a full wall/blowthrough on 16k watts...that would be alot of fun!!! :hairtrick:
  20. The amps were coming loose!! how they were mounted it was breaking the screws off in the wood...the next go around i used some fuel line and sandwiched a piece under the mounting flange on the screw and a piece on top of the flange with a washer and it still broke screws off..and thats another reason i lost an amp, it broke all the screws on the end of the amp and the board broke in half and caught on fire...the truck was loud, but more violent than anything.
  21. This was at a show in leesburg fl...little did i know i was down an amp too, so only three subs were playing, i miss this soo much..i gotta build something like this again!!
