  1. Article 4, Section 2, Paragraph 1 of the Articles of Confederation state that a citizen of the United States (free inhabitant) is free to travel to and from any state in the Union. However, while within a state, the "free inhabitant" is subject to the laws and regulations of the state that they are in, not the state in which they reside. And this is why dumb bitches like this need to do their homework lol.

  2. It is fairly common for people to exceed recommended enclosure size to boost output of a subwoofer. However, you do run the risk of exceeding the subs mechanical limit and causing serious damage. The more power you run to a subwoofer, the smaller the enclosure must be to keep the cone under control. Since you will be running these subs under rated power, you should be ok making the enclosure slightly larger than recommended and be fine, plus you will see a decent rise in output over the same setup in a smaller box.

  3. Yep! Mechman will recommend you replace your belt. I did .5" shorter so we will see how that works cause I just done it. I did a post about my pulley moving, but I'm not sure if they stay in one place or continues to automatically adjust. So, if you need a good belt and not go through what I went through here is the belt chart for this brand. http://www.veyance.c...il.aspx?id=3128

To answer your question, yes your tensioner pulley will move when you rev the engine, that is normal.

  4. I've been running a stock autozone belt for almost a year now with a mechman 370 and it still looks fine. It's about an inch shorter than stock and the tensioner pully is pretty much maxed and still not a whole lot of wear. I honestly wouldn't worry about it, and if you are still concerned just get one of those green belts from napa, they're more expensive but last twice as long.

  5. Fake or real?! (or am I late to the party?) MAP $1699.00 Sundown Audio Zv5 24"

So i was just digging through my design files and realized i was prepared for this day lol. 30 cubes net tuned to 26hz, this should work. It's a shame that it isn't on the team series motor tho. lol

Putting a team series motor and coil on that sub would stretch the surround and fold the cone, the surround has to be customed tooled, from what I know about sundown thats probably already in the works but that stuff takes a while to perfect. I agree though the team motors and coils would be epic once finalized.

Someone could build a 24" sub with a 6" coil, 5 stack ferrite motor, carbon reinforced aluminum cone, 12" 10 layer spider, and a kevlar reinforced surround, and it would STILL be cheaper than a jackhammer lol.

  6. Ok heres something to know. The M4 recone kits are the same as your M3. DC changed model names for clarical reasons for those.

The M4 has the new machined basket tho right? Both mine have the old 6 spoke basket that you can buy anywhere. Would that mean that they are both M2s?

yours could still be m3 motors. post picks and we can go from there. regardless you will have to upgrade to the new basket

Ok well i'll be pulling them out tomorrow and i'll post some pics.
