there are two layers inside. Im not glassing upside down on a POS forklift that is going to probably be traded in this year. You must be crazy.
That's good stuff man. I have a fiberglass canoe that is all cracked up. Seeing stuff like this is giving me motivation to try to so something with it when the weather warms up. Does fiberglass need special paint?

All from the outside? Or are you going to put some inside too?

Most dont remember or know. But, some of you OG members recall....
My old rig. It was sold to a local bass head. He just put 8-15s in it. Was just at a local get together for demo swaps and hangin out. Just leaving. Dumb bitch T boned him. All are sayin it's totalled. Fucking bummer.
The amount of time I sat driving to comps, worked, slept, bled, laughed and cried in that....... :/
Good bye turd....
Man that totally sucks! I know the feeling can make you sick. Hopefully nobody got hurt and being T boned is the #1 reason to fuse the power cables at the front and the back. You never know what is going to happen; Stay Safe Everyone!

Its crazy how many people think that the law doesn't apply to them. Then when they get arrested they are going down town and they can do it the easy way or they can do it the hard way but either way they are going.

Just taking your foot off and letting the clutch spring back at full speed. Not letting it out slowly.
Like if your foot slipped off the clutch, you accidentally "dropped the clutch".Also known as dumping the clutch. I had a 1980 Plymouth Horizon with a 4 speed one time. I replaced the clutch and it would burn the front tires and chirp second. lol

No real bumping or jolts while idling switching gears. Im kinda forcing it into gear when down shifting from 2nd to 1st. Bump or jostle? I'll need to listen
Most vehicles won't downshift into first until the vehicle is almost stopped. When taking off in first, you need to slip the clutch a little to get going right?

Dialing the amp down to 300w is fine but then the sub probably won't see 300w due to impedance rise. I would probably just set it for full output and bang on it no matter what the sub was rated for. lol

Now I'm going to read page 7.

Sounds like it will work.

Does the cc1 measure amplifier output?
Edit: my bad I just watched the video. I never knew that the cc1 had another function. So you would use the cc1 to turn the gain down on the amp that is turned up.
Also when you find the max clean output from the head unit then leave it there as a reference point for the gain settings for all the amps. Maybe I misunderstood but it sounded like you were adjusting the head unit volume when you were adjusting the amp gains.

I think overlap is something different. Gain matching is matching the amplifiers outputs so they play at the same level with a volt meter.

Yes 06 and Skulls are correct. Since there are separate amps for the right and left channel they need to be gain matched. After you set the gain with the dd1 on your amps, measure the output voltage from each amp. Then turn the higher of the two down to the level of the lower one so they have the same voltage. Don't turn the low one up because that will cause it to clip. Please post some pictures, I would like to see this.?

I will take some snow over here please. All we got was rain.☹️

Looks like the front wheels would fold under if you hit a bump.

Back in the day people would put a car body on a 4x4 truck frame but this really takes the cake.

Generally 1/2 octave below tuning would be the set point for your subsonic. An octave is a doubling or halving of frequency. One octave below 40hz would be 20hz. One half of that would be 10hz below so 30hz would be correct. If all things were normal. Overpowering might require a higher set point. The subsonic filter slope probably has a 24db per octave slope or roll off. This will mean that the signal will be 24db lower at one octave below set point. The set point is where it starts to roll off so it will still pass almost the whole signal at set point. I would start with it set to 40hz and then slowly turn it down until the subs make a different sound or the sound changes or you hear any kind of unnatural sound. Sometimes the cone when it unloads will make an additional sound that is several octaves higher than the original bass note.

Yeah. I don't think I've ever seen a 8track
The 8 track was the first mainstream recording that could be played in the car. The under dash record player never really caught on. The 8 track had 4 programs or "sides" that you could switch to. The tape was in a continuous loop and made it easy to set the mood when you had your girl in the car. Instead of relying on the radio to play the right song at the right time you could just pop in the cartridge and the rest is history. lol
