I know what a standing wave is. It's not a problem with my box. The box in that video is SEALED, mine is ported. Regardless, as nice as that box (in the video) is, there is no way what they did will make a noticeable difference in sound from any other properly built sealed box without all those curves. For a ported box like mine i would much rather NOT have all those wavy (staggered) pieces. I prefer smooth airflow in and out of my port. Thanks Steve, thats exactly what I wanted to know. That definetly saves me alot of time.

While I was trying to find information about building a stacked box I found this video. they talk about it at 0:38.

hey steve I love the design. I wanna make a stacked box for my truck. I seen others do a staggered design on the interior to prevent standing waves. Dis you even have an issue like that? Is it a big enough difference to want to do it?
