There is a way to resize pictures by using a resizing website. I have not been able to figure out how to get good results with it though. My old tablet takes small enough pictures but only sometimes. Tuned in.

U mean editing the photo after its taken? Im trying to have the direct upload feature work so i dont have to do all that just to post some pics. I have imgurl app on my phone, ive been using that but got tired of all the extra steps and figured i just pay for memebership because i like this forum anyway and i like what Steve does so why not support his work. But now the main feature i wanted is unusable for me lol i dont use computers just my phone.

  2. I recently paid for the gold membership so i could post photos directly from my phones gallery or even use the "take photo" option thats available with paid membership. I wanted to start a build log and show progressive pics, and be able to upload quickly and easily without having to go through an extra app to make the pics work then have to transfer them over to here and have to do that over and over for every pic on my log. The largest file allowed is 1.95MB and aparently the iphone 6s plus has a camera that takes great detailed pics that create a large file. Iphones camera specs like megapixels or whatever cant be adjusted, so i cant take lower quality pics to create a smaller file, that option doesnt exist on my phone. Is there a way that the allowed file size can be increased so that i can use the direct pic upload feature?

Technical difficulties.....they FUCKIN LOVE ME. ?

So you couldn't see the codes on the image above? The 2 links in the announcement just go to our website and the product page. I'll have to check with Tony about why the image wasn't view able we use the desktop version of SMD not the mobile. .

Im not sure if you changed the image format or something but it working and now i see the big ad picture with the code without having to click any link. Earlier it wasnt a picture it was just a clickable link, and when i clicked it, it was blank. Its workin now though.  Thanks Second Skin!

Thanks for the assistance Charger....codes can be input in the checkout screen, I think the code box is in the bottom left corner.

Yah i entered it at the order confirmation page. But i wasnt able to see the code at all, someone else sent me the code. Those two pictures i posted are screen shoots of me clicking on the link you posted for the code. No code at all came up, just that blank screen with a square in the middle. Was the link for the code mobile friendly? Im on an iphone 6s plus

Yeah, with those gaps, that is going to be the outer layer that is most likely rattling. If you can get CCF in there it would be good, but you may want to use the ideas the other poster listed, just be careful with expanding foam as it will push metal outwards if too much is used.

Hey, maybe that could be another product you guys make???? Second Skin expanding damplifier foam, specificaly made for the car audio world, that'd be pretty cool.

  6. post some pics of ur system. Chargers?. Maybe put some extra DPro or some kinna cushion between the license plate and its bracket/housing, then secure that tightly. And do the same with mounting the bracket to the vehicle, cusion and fasten it firmly to minimize any rattle.

The only thing i can think of to lessen the rattle of the actual lid, is to add weight to the lid so it doesnt move as easily/rattles less. You can do that with multiple layers of DPro or someother way u can think of to add weight to the lid.

unless i'm wrong we are all going in different directions

according to SMD this is correct way to set up

All connection and using the SMD  disc  as per instruction manual

1 -  DD1plus connected to output of Amp  turn up headunit until distortion light comes on

OK  but normally it would be a stereo 2 channel or 4 channel amp

So you now have distortion point   say 29 of 35 from headunit

Now according to Rockford who SMD support you should add 10% of overlap to the amp

this definitely helps with the power output of the amp and normally that is setup down

But in my setup i have used 2 amps so 1 for Left channel 1 for right channel

so i now repeat the procedure above only problem on this amp DD1plus shows distortion at 32 of 35

if i now add 10% overlap this amp will be much louder than the other

because put simply the gain is turned up

this is why i think the correct thing to do here is use the CC1 to match the outputs

What does ur headunit outputs/rca's clip at?? Meaning before/without amps. I still dont get why ur adjusting ur amp settings by turning up the headunit. Maybe thats some kinna different setup ive never looked into.

  8. Dont you only need to find the volume distortion of the headunit? Not the amps volume distortion.

Find where the headunit outputs distorts ( amps not part of this step, you can disconect amps), use 40hz test tone to find what volume that distorts, then do the same with a 1000hz test tone. Use the lower distortion point of both, example:40hz clips at 31volume and 1000hz clips at 33volume, that means 30volume is the highest u can go without clipping, if u turn it to 31 your headunits signal clips.

So now u can set ur amp gains. Turn headunit to 30, turn amp gains all the way down. Play the tones again and set it right before clipping.

I think thats how it goes.
