Big Update, everything is installed and working! Right now I am just tuning the crossover between the sub and components and also tuning the comps. My trunk is a rats nest right now, but Im in the process of building a new box/ amp rack to fit all this equipment in my limited trunk Here are some pics, I'll upload some more later. I used the stock 16ga speaker wire for the woofers And then I applied to Second Skin. I kept on putting down layers in rattling spot until there was no more resonance, up to three layers at some spots. But now my doors are dead silent Didn't take any pics of the building of my door pods, but they are covered in layers of rustoleom for moisture protection. Here is the drivers side And the passengers side The tweeters are mounted in the stock locations, aimed slightly up and towards the opposite seats (passenger tweet aimed towards driver seat and vise versa). This gives a great image, voices sound centered and coming from the bottom center of the windshield. I do have a little alternator whine problem, but thats just because I need to work out the ground. Overall I am highly pleased with the bostons, I ended up putting the tweeters at -4db because they were to profound at first, but they sound excellent now.

Alright here are the pics for the passenger door panel. First I cut a lot of little holes Then I went in and snipped the connectors with tin snips There is a wiring harness right behind a section where I drilled through, had to be carefull Then I put a double layer of electrical tape down

Update, here is what I got done today. Cut into the driver side door: And put two layers of electical tape on the edges: Here it is with the window closed, its about 1/2" of space from the door panel: I also soldered all my wires 4 awg 1/0 awg

I posted up my build log for my sub almost a year ago, so I will post a link to that later. This build will be slow since I am very busy with school right now, but I will work on it as much as I can and keep you updated. Here are the specs: Sub: 1 Pioneer Premier TS-W3001D4 12" Sub amp: Rockford Fosgate T1500-1BD Speakers: Boston Acoustics Pro60se Speaker Amp: Rockford Fosgate P400-2 KnuKonceptz wire Second Skin Damplifier And its all tying into the OEM head unit with a 3sixty.1 I am waiting on the speakers and amp in the mail, onto the pics! The car: Sub and box: Now I wonder what could be in these boxes? 8 ft each of Red and black 1/0 awg, 8 ft each of red and black 4 awg, and 75 ft of 12 awg speaker wire And in box #2, 50 sq ft of Damplifier And here is everything I have received: And onto the install! Beginning to lay down the Damplifier on the trunk lid: All done! I put down 6 sq ft And everything buttoned up, I know it peeks out a little bit, but its not that noticeable so Im not worrying about it And thats it for today, I will post more pics as I move along.

As topic says, I dont have an O-scope but do you really need one to properly get my system dialed in with a 3sixty.2? Or can I just do it by ear?

New Video Card, Power Supply, Case Fan, and Thermal Compound

Yep I have only had two compatibility issues with it, first is the antivirus (kaspersky). Vista is constantly prompting my to update my virus definitions, even a couple minutes after I have just updated them. Second is with my sound card (x-fi) The cards software causes BSOD to occur after the software has been running. But other than that, its great!

Got some new ram, its 2x2gb running at 800mhz. Swiped my hard drive, installed all of my new components, installed vista 64 bit and I am now installing all of my drivers and sofware

Called tech support today and worked it out. Apparently 3 of my 4 sticks of ram got fried when i was swapping them to the new board. And thats what was causing the hang during boot up. So now I am running on 512mb of ram, which vista needs 1.5gb of ram to even run. So now i have to buy some new ram, which sucks haha. But at least I dont have to RMA it

Bad news. Hooked everything up today, turned it on and goes straight to DET DRAM. No POST, no bios beep, nothing. Tried re-installing everything, didnt work. Cleared the CMOS, it didnt work. Installed everything but the new CPU on a different mother board to check if it works and it does. Brought my friend over who was on the programming team for vista, has worked around computers all of his life, and has built countless numbers of servers, and even he couldnt fix the problem. Everything turns on, it just gets stuck on DET DRAM and stays there. The moniter gets no signal, and the keyboard doesnt work. Called tech support TWICE. first time waited about five minutes, asked me to get them my name and number and said they would call me back. Just got off the phone with them after waiting a half an hour, same thing. Name and number and we will call you back. I wait for someone to come onto live tech support while i was on hold, and no on came online. Im gonna call them tomorrow right after school and if I dont get through I am just going to file an RMA with www.newegg.com

I came from from school and found my packadge that I have been waiting for for a week sitting on my doorstep. This is what was in it: Its an Asus Rampage Formula motherboard and an Intel q6600 quad core CPU. I will install it sometime this week.

Do Fi Q's sound good in sealed boxes? I am thinking about putting two of them in a 2.80 ft^3 gross sealed box. Also, how much power will a 12" Q be able to take with the BP Power option? Thanks for the help.

Which IE are you running? I dont know about IE 6 but in IE 7 you just go to tools/Delete Browsing History and it gives you options to delete your temporary internet files, history, cookies, form data, and passwords.

I tried the heatgun and canned air method back when I first bought the car, and it did nothing. It didnt work at all, but I did only keep the canned air on there for 10 seconds max, Ill go and try it again.

My car was caught in a hail storm a couple of years ago (before I bought it) and it is covered in at least 50 small hail dents. They are all over the car and are only about 1"-2" wide. Does anyone know of a way to remove these? I dont want to go to a bodyshop to get an estimate because i know its gonna be killer So if anyone has any insight to this please comment!
