i think 3.5 cubes sounds perfect. and tuned to 32hz. can someone draw up a sketch with those numbers?

ill go as big as i can fit in the trunk as long as i can easily take it out. i guess im just asking what is the optimum box size for the sub?

damn that is a nice box. this is gonna be my second box ive ever built. well the first box i built i had no damn clue about cubes or port size or tuning. so this box will deffinatly be alot better

now that seems more reasonable. but how would the inside look? like how far back does the port go and the length of the baffle thing? hahah damn im a noob

just ordered an mtx 9515-44 and i have a hifonics bxi2008d to run it on. mtx has plans on the site for a ported enclosure with a net volume of 2.48 feet cubed. that just seems a little small to me. would yall suggest a bigger box? i want to tune it around 32hz. and if anyone could draw me up some plans i would greatly appreciate it!!
