    Have a skar zvx8 in a 4th order. It’s on a soundqubed s1-1250. Question is sub is rated at 900rms and have it wired at 2 ohms and the amp pushes 860rms at 2 ohm. The bass knob has the clipping indicator and when listening to my flash drive with dj rusticals the clip light will flash on, not fully stay lit just flash on mainly on notes that punch harder if that makes any sense

      How did you set your gains?

      Does it do that with other music you play?

      Have the gain turned down almost all the way, and if I just listen to regular music doesn’t seem to do it

      All the way down means nothing. Gain is not volume. Get a oscope or dd1 to properly set gains. The gain should match headunit voltage to produce a clean signal. Alot of music like rusticals and others can be boosted or distorted during recording. A little flicker on bass knob is ok on hard notes if your gains are properly set.

       

      Also when you set your gains do so with the bass knob on max.
