  1. well i have since found darvex and i can get some shitty fuse holders for 1/0 for like 11 bucks so thats not as bad as i thought i would be so i think i will hit that up and get me some more 1/0 and 8 gauge speaker wire will im at it. wish i woulda known this a week or so ago i just ordered a digital volt meter i coulda saved on shipping.
  2. im glad i was having trouble sleeping thinking about my amps being here tomorrow and i decided to ask if how i pictured it being wired would work. once again thanks guys for the quick ass info and keeping me from burning my whip up. just hope after all the money ive thrown on this it wangs so hard i cant even sit in the bitch. oh and my car doesnt really have a chassis its a uni body so if i found a good ground point like the old seat belt bolt would it work the same?
  3. ahh fuck well i think ima be short on the 50 ft spool of 1/0 i bought anyways so i guess i could just order them then.
  4. hell yea that sucked but he put his under the seat i mean i know what you guys mean but after dropping 5+ on a system im kinda left dry and still havent bought the wood yet. could i get away with it for a while then later on fuse them? and wouldnt running 4 fuses kinda limit the amount of power coming through those wires?
  5. damn man thats shitty i mean what are the chances of my wires actually grounding im not running them through or close to anything i really dont wanna buy 2 more fuses and holders that like another 100 i dont have at the moment.
  6. well my sundowns say i need an external 300 amp fuse. so thats what i got 1 for each amp. so now im kinda stuck on what you mean. if i gotta put one before the back batts that means i will use both fuses on the 2 runs of positive im running.
  7. well i thought i would put my fuses from the back batts to the amps? i only have 2 fuses with 2 fuse holders. but i will deff prolly just ground out batts instead of running the two neg runs from the front. never thought of that before.

  16. finally got in touch with him hes shipping me out a new one today and we will just swap.
  17. its so hard because i gotta drop it down to the bottem where the cv joint is and and then pry and wiggle a little bit to sqeeze it though that space and it is damn tight.
  18. i got stock alt but i drive a acura integra not that means anything to you but omg can i cant even explain the pain in the ass to remove or replace on these cars. basically i got a 5 rib pully and a 4 rib belt and and its so small im doubting if i can get it tight enough.
  19. yea but you underestimate how tight they cram the alts in the acuras i highly doubt itll fight long ways and i prolly wont be able to make up for the slack to tighten up the belt.
  20. my car is currently broke down due to alt being off it due to the wrong pully and i really need to get in touch with dom as quickly as possible and hes not picking up the 651 287 number. wondering if you guys knew another number

  22. yea the alt is the same size but the rib count on new one is 5 and the original is 4. ima wait till i get in touch with him tomorrow before i swap pullys over.
  23. yea i was figuring there had to be some type of mess up but this is super shitty man im stuck with no alt and 3 hours worth of work to get the bitch off in the first place.
  24. well thats one thing as well the new pully has more ribs then the stock one so im kinda stuck as to what to do now.
  25. i was going to install my alternator today and realized that the pully is much smaller then stock one and not to sure if will fit. and i know yall are like well just try it but i drive a 1995 acura integra and you gotta come out from the bottom and have a bar to pry enough space to squeeze through past the cv joint. so i was wondering if you were able to switch the pully from stock to new alt before i get it on there and takes another hour to get the bitch back out.
