  1. Did you ever figure out how to run the lithium and super cap setup I just ordered my first EVER lithium battery from jag35 74AH and the ioxus ultra cap battery to help with the voltage but like I said I have never messed with lithium before any advice would be greatly appreciated and do I need any type of DC to DC charger or an isolator or anything else I can't get a straight answer from anyone if it's safe or even practical to just hook it up I've been told to delete the lead acid battery and put the lithium and super cap in the trunk with the super cap directly feeding the amp with the lithium feeding the super cap is this the right way to do it please help
  2. Hey I'm wondering if you can give me some advice I just ordered the 74AH pro V2 model from jag35 and it's my first EVER lithium battery I've never dealt with anything but lead acid and I'm nervous that I'm going to mess something up if I'm going to delete the lead acid battery and just run lithium do I need any type of isolation device or DC to DC charger on board or anything like that other guys in the car audio community are telling me just drop in the trunk fuse it on both ends and hook it up others have told me I'm going to see a major fluctuation in voltage after the swap and recommended getting some type of super cap setup so I got a second hand ioxus ultra cap battery to help with the voltage after install but I still have yet to put it in because like I said I don't know what I am doing I'm upgrading for the first time to a bigger system than 15-1800 watts rms biggest I've ever had currently running a CXA 1800.1 and two Q-class 12's wanting to upgrade to at least 4K in the trunk and another 1-1500 on the mids and highs and was told to start with my power supply before upgrading speakers, amp etc. and my car can NOT take a high output alternator so upgrading my battery was the only option and jag35 had a really good budget friendly option in the 74AH model I'm glad to see I'm not the only one trying these out
  3. Hey man I saw a post you added to a question about the titan 8, HO alternator etc I'm currently running a kicker CXA 1800.1 on stock everything except 0 gauge wire and my 19 Camry is handling it fine no voltage drop period but I want to upgrade from the dual 12 Q-class to the dual 12 solo x setup but I am wondering if I can drop a LTO bank in the place of my battery and be good it's the same thing as the titan 8 and where the titan 8 is 10ah the bank is 40ah which call me stupid but if my math is correct that is the equivalent of 4 titan 8's correct and for the price of half of one titan 8 but the guy at the dealership keeps trying to get me to buy three titan 8 for my car to handle the setup I want any help would be appreciated also the 19 Camry is not compatible with a HO alternator because of the ONBUS/LINBUS electronics build reasoning for going the battery route

  4. I am currently driving a 2019 Toyota Camry LE and I am running 2x kicker Q-class L7 12's with a kicker CXA 1800.1 don't get me wrong they slam but as we all know bassheads aren't happy unless are cars are about to fall apart from the Bass so I have contacted several places Mechman being the first and all say the same thing that my cars electrical system is made to regulate the amps something called a canbis/linbus electronics build basically to sum it up no matter what amp alternator I put in my car the electronic system will only recognize it as a stock amp alternator and charge at a stock alternator rate so my first question is can an alternative power source be created to charge the same way the alternator does and if so "HOW" any input would be appreciated I'm trying to upgrade to at least a 4-5000 watt rms subs and another 1-1500 watt rms for the mids and highs but in order to go anything above 2-3000 watts rms (Mechman recommended max for stock electrical) I need an alternative power source someone help
