I sealed the trunk lid and very front of the trunk so that way at least most of the sound is being redirected

I have 2 WDX DB DRIVE 12” 1200rms 1ohm in a homemade ported box facing trunk in my Pontiac G6 4 door. With a 1600w rms soundstream amp (sorry don’t know the actual amp type). My car is already illegally loud, however I want to know how would putting my seats down or up effect my sound. I’ve heard for non-hatchbacks it’s best to keep them up but I have wiring I haven’t put away yet and if I don’t have to put my seats up I won’t but if it will sound better I will. Please let me know asap! Thank you
