Thanks for the video. I was looking for this the other night when you said that you would post it, but I was looking for it on your site and not youtube. My question is how did you wire up those Alt? Did you tap into the factory harness from the origonal alternator to the other three? A nice how to would be great. Especially for those looking to do just a dual alternator setup such as myself.

Yes that was me. The big guy standing next to the ride. That was me. Its funny cause I went to enterpise today to pickup my rental and they stuck me in a fucking Mitsubishi Galant. From what I was told he was trying to back out of a parking spot directly in front of my truck. All I know is that my truck looks way worser that what those pictures show.

My rates wont rise cause I wasn't at fault for this accident. That was one of the first things I clarified with my insurance company when I called them. I guess this is one of the good things about having Allstate insurance for 5 years running.

I just got off the phone with my aunt who an insurance agent (30+ years in the business). She said that if I want to wait it out for my insurance company to go throught the driver's insurance company then I can get the truck fixed without initially comming of pocket. I just might have to wait a few weeks. Or I can fix the truck now, pay the $500 deductable and then once my insurance company gets the claim throught to the driver's company then I'll get my money back. So that's what I'm gonna do cause I can't roll with my shit looking like that. No way. She also said that because I wasn't in the car when the accident happen the only thing I can claim is property damage. So no extra money for me.... . If there is one thing I've learned from this is this. For all of you guys that have houses and/or apartements with garages......park you shit inside of your garage. That way you decrease the risk of something happening to your ride.

I was in the house sleep when it happen. But a neighbor saw what happened because his mustang was parked right next to my truck and he thought that his car got hit as well. He said that the truck driver tried to bribe him not to call the cops cause the guy didn't want to loose his job. Once the neighbor told him he wasn't the guy took off. Oh well, the cops said that by the guys leaving the scene of an accident that will cost him 12 points on his license(Missouri law). I also found out that the delivery truck is not owned by Sears, but instead a private delivery contractor that carries their own insurance. I have the insurance information, but I won't be able to get the other stuff till I get the police report, which should be ready in 8 to 10 days. I have full coverage, but I will have to initially come out of $500 for the deductable, but I can get that back once I sue the other insurance company. I am going to sue cause not only is this damage to my ride but it's also costing me time at work. The more I look at those picture the more pissed off I get. It could have been worser though. I could have been in the car at the time and got hurt. But all this tells me is that I really need to move out of this apartment complex and into a house where I can keep my vehicles in the garage. Oh yeah, she's gonna be beautiful again. I'm gonna make sure of that. It's just that this now throws my system plans off for another few more months. I was waiting to get my house first before I planned on building my monster system for the truck. But now some of that money is gonna have to initally go towards the deductable on the repairs.

The last few weeks of my life have been pure shit. Let me start from the begining. It was Sunday the 19th of August, my wife and I just returned home from an aniversay trip to Chicago, to find out that someone broke into her van and stole her Sirius satillite radio. They didn't break any windows, but they did jackup her dash and destroyed the antenna and power supply to the Sirius unit. So I'm like, okay that's $150 out of the pocket to replace that unit and my time to put it in. It was also a sign that I need to find a house and move out of my apartment. So after I take care of that issue the next major life fart to come my was was a job promotion that I was passed over for, for some youtube jackass that's best nerd friends with my supervisor. I go to work do my job, my interview for the promotion was good, but becasue I don't kiss my bosses ass cause I'm too busy working and making our department look good, I get passed over for the studdering idiot, who doesn't know jack shit, doesn't work, and spend 75% of his time at work surfing the net for funny youtube videos that he shares with the manager. So okay, I see that another career change maybe in order soon. So I can look past that obvious mistake on their part, but what happed to me today has to be priceless piece of karma. Oh yeah, sorry for the long ass fragment there. I'm pissed and high on Nyquil so sue me. So I'm at home today working from home cause I'm sick. I wouldn't be working from home, but because I'm the dependable one in my department, I have to get a budget report out today. So as I'm here at home with a monster headache and a cough that won't quit, I get a call from my landlord. They tell me that there was an accident in the parking lot and that a Sears delivery truck just back into my new 2007 Suburban. Not only did they back into my truck, but they ran off after they noticed the damaged done. So I'm running outside with a headache doped up on Nyquil to find this................. So now I have a jacked up truck, headache and a serious cough. The only good thing to come about today...............Thank god the season starts tonight.

Success! I found it. The guy who posted the song on youtube finally responded back to me. The song called Whats Da Deal. Its by a rapper called Shawty Redd feature Pastor Troy, big Kuntry, and Daz Dilinger. Okay here is one for that ass. I have the new Pastor Troy Tool Muzik album, and there is a song call Saddam Hussein that hits hard as hell. Anyway some posted the song on youtube however, on their version of the song there is a sample clip of a song that plays for around 15 -20 seconds. I've been spending the past two days trying to track down this song. The only thing I can tell you is that the song seems to be Chopped & Screwed, features Pastor Troy, and uses a sample of Prince's The Beautiful Ones. Does anyone out there know who did this track? The track I'm talking about will start at 3:14 and end at 3:34. Please, anyone who real big on mix tapes, Chopped & Screwed music, or southern rap help a brotha out. Cause this is driving me insane. Anyone else out there have an opinnion? I'm thinking about buying two of these and run them either on a pair of 18's or on 4 15L7's. I'm not sure yet. I've been running a single L7 now for the past two years and I want to try something different. Especially now that I have a Suburban and not a Durango.

LOL.... Why would you bring up Legacy???? I'm really wanting to hear from those who may have used these JBL amps before and have some first hand knowledge on them. Oh yeah, I also know that a good 4K amp is gonna run anywhere from $800 - $2500, depending on where you get it from. This lil bit of info is for anyone else who wants to shoot off some off brand amp like Rockwood, PLye, or SoundStrom.

I was snooping around sounddomain looking to see if they had anything good on sale in their Hot Buys section when I came accross this one here JBL BPX2200.1. Do you guys think this is a good price for this amp even though its factory renewed? I'm still shopping around for a good solid mono block and I remember wanting one of these when they first came out. It's just that now with so many other amp manufactors out there, I'm wondering if I could get a better deal than this. I really looking for a good single 4k amp, but would be willing to go with a pair of soild 2k amps for the right price. What do you guys think?

hey guys thanks for the suggestion. To bad I didn't ask this question sooner, cause my time here in Tampa Bay is about to come to an end. I'll be heading back home tomorrow, so I won't have time to stop by any of those shops. I was out a busch gardens today, and didn't leave till around 9:30pm. Fun place, I didn't ride any coaster (wife was to chicken shit) but I enjoyed checking out all the animals and what not. I would have like to have heard some subs instead, but that just means that I have to bit the bullet and buy them.

I wish I could but I have plans to go to Busch Gardens all day tomorrow and I leave out early Sunday morning. I guess I should have posted this question last week, but it slipped my mind. Not to mention that I wouldn't have thought that Tampa Bay seems so borning to me. I couldn't really find anything to do besides go to the beach. That only cool for so long. Hey all, I'm down in Tampa Bay this weekend with the wife. She has some balance convention to go to while I'm stuck here at the Holiday Inn Express. So I was wondering if there were any local shops around here with demo vehicles I could look at? I've never hear any of the FI audio subs in person so I figured since I'm down here in the Sun Shine state, might as well see if I could find someone willing to let a fellow bass head listen to their system. I don't like to buy subs without hearing them first hand. So anyone here from the Tampa Bay/Clearwater area know of any audio shops that have FI audio installed in their showroom or demo vehicles could you let me know. Hell, since I'm at it I've never hear any of the following subs in person, so any shop that has these subs to show would be helpful: FI Audio RE Audio Atomic Audio T3 Audio Digital Design Stereo Integrity Treo Audio I live up in St. Louis and I can't find any audio shops that sale those products listed above. So I figured I'd have a better chance of hearing a few of these down here in Florida.

Hey Black Tahoe, are you running dual batteries in your truck? If so do you have any photos to share on how its looks? I'm just trying to get some ideals on how to run the wires and what not.

I raised the hood on my 07 and I notice that my battery is on the passanger side of the truck, while on the driver side behide the fuse box is a place to add a second battery. I want to run a two battery setup for my truck, one for starting the truck, the other for the stereo system. I don't know which batteries to choose, so that's where you guys come in. Now even thought I have an 07, doesn't mean I'm loaded with cash. Gas is a Bitch right now. So it has to be within reason as far as price. I've used the Optima Red top batteries before and was thinking about doing two yellow tops instead, but I'm not sure if I want to go with them do to price. I also want the batteries to last so will I need to get an isolator for them? I'm really looking to stay under $200 if at all possible. Here is the truck. I got it used for around $30K. Its an LT model that didn't come with the bose system(thank god). This is shot of the battery: This is the extra battery bay on the driver side of the truck. Where could I go to get matterial to hold the extra battery in place if I was to mount it here?
