You got a pic of that dual alt setup. A slipping serpentine belt means you don't have enough pulley wrap around the accessory you are trying to drive. You might have to step up to larger idlers to fix the problem. Good luck.
Negitive ghost rider..... He just needs to play with either 1 of 2 things OR BOTH!! Either get a 1/2" shorter belt, install it and see how it is then. Or replace tentioner and shorter belt and try it then.... No need to touch any idler pully

the green one ive only seen steve run. it has 7 or 8 ribs so you would have to cut ribs off. i have not been able to find the belt though. the more common belt is the goodyear gatorback. ive talked to several people who say that belt got rid of the slipping. i have the same squeal only at high rpm and im about to get a gatorback.
Not so sure on that. First, I doubt HIGHLY Steve would put a belt on a tahoe thats worth MEGA money that he had to cut to make work, just doesnt make sense. Also, Gates will have a 6 rib belt in proper length to accomodate these apps. Remember, these green belts are for heavy semi's, so these long lengths that we require for multi alts is NO PROBLEM as some of these SEMI trucks take god aweful long belts....

Newls thats what im looking for!
Sold many of them back in the day, there VERY EXpensive, so heads up. If I remember correctly a normal surp belt like the gates k060925 will cost ~40-45$, the GREEN BACK version will be 75-80$ but its worth it. Get the greeny belt, slightly shorter then your current belt (1/2 shorter) and your issue should be delt with. G/L

They can call in warrants nowadays, at least I know they can in Illinois and Iowa for sure. As long as the judge or whoever approves them is awake, they can have one in minutes and print it off in their car without leaving the scene.
This is very true. I've seen it first hand here in GA

Hey man! Before you start thinking bad thoughts about a company that is 100% top notch, please have a little patients first!!! Certain people have there number, but if everyone had there number, they would never have time to build drivers as the phone would ring of the hook. Contact NDMstang65 and im sure he'll be happy to assist in your issue! I am moving this topic to the Fi section

ive seen this truck in person i think? Did this used to have I think 4 15" RF's??? If so, who ever built the box for those 15"s, I think I remember the port loooooooking WAY SMALL! This new rebuild looks perfect!!!! Great Job...

what kinda 18s are you running?
aqhdc3

actual power of the 2500D?? Anyone clamp them yet

amps are ORDERED!!!!! I got them through DB-R so I dont think I have anything to worry about!! DB-R does great work... I guess Ill order 4 D2's???? Well, hold on, im confusing myself I think? Do I want a 1ohm load with all 4 connected, or a 1/2ohm load? Damn it, been out of loop a little longer then I thought!! Help. I am however pretty set on running each amp @ 1/2 ohm so when strapped together, it will be a 1ohm load...
-
OK, let me see if were all on the same page here? Plus I need all the help I can get! The drivers are still on my order list so I need help figuring out if I need D1's or D2's?? The way I was wanting to wire them what all 4 together, and strap amps to each other, so only 2 speaker wires will be connected to amp, and since there strapped, 1 amp controls the other, so tuning wont be a hassle.....am I correct here? If all this sounds right, IM HITTING THE "BUY IT NOW" BUTTON ASAP
-
OK, sundowns are getting ordered right now!!! Also, The DC 5K that I wanted, the seller just txted and said there all sold... So this may have worked out good!!!

as some of you all may have seen, im starting back my audio project in my tahoe. I have to make an amp decision, and I kinda have to do it quickly as this offer may not be around for much longer. It will be powering 4 hdc3's 18's and looking for a few anwsers here!!! I might have the chance to get 1 DC Audio 5k amp for a good price, or for the same price I can get 2 Sundown 2500's and strap them @ 1/2 ohm each (Im sure they can do it!!!) when all for are connected I will have a 1ohm load, but after rise, Im sure strapping each amp @ 1/2 ohm will be perfect cause the rise will obviously cause the load to go up a little. WHAT DO I DO!!!!! Wait to see if the DC 5k will be sold to me, or go now and buy the 2 sundowns (With warrentte) and call it done???? Thanks

your about to have a PM
**EDIT** how long have you owned this amp, and are you the original buyer?? Very serious about buying this amp.. would AQ honor any warentee if something went wrong?

I forgot to mention... The battery life is 1:45-2:00 hours, it plays crysis and most of the new games, has a 17" screen, and the CPU will beat out the newer I7s any day in multithreaded, and especially single threaded performance(overclocked to 3.3ghz remaining withing intel's voltage specs for the CPU)
Not sure if it makes a difference, but I figured I would add it just in case
I hope you dont think that CPU is faster then the 2nd gen i7's... I think your letting that "Extreme" word go to your head my friend. Im guessing that notebook wouldnt be worth more then 750-800$ Sorry, just the nature of the beast. The GPU is not intended for gaming use, but rather more toward profession graphics, and at that, still not great. Yes..... it is a nice notebook, but only for a small nitch community.....

darvex sells awesome terminals, and has a nice selection

First, ditch that useless cap, then put 1 decent quality batt in back, followed with a BIGIII install (please fuse both ends of pos cable!!) some quality grounds, and that should really be it. Later on, upgrade to a HO alt, nd maybe 2 runs of POS, and NEG to back batt....
Dual alt install and now belt squeal
