Pulled my friends silverado up to mine and slid it rte into there Erik helping drink beer and sound deaden a little lol! This isn't the greatest pic ever but oh well you get the point... The gap was actually over 2" lol

Small update: Found out why my score dropped a little, almost a full db bc I had 4 broken and separated roof braces... Lol So we pulled the subs, box, and amps to get ready for the rebuild... And after that we fixed all braces and then layd anther 3 layers of deadner... Makes 6 full layers on the roof, that combined with the re enforcing the roof is a beast!!! Got to re mount all the highs amps and put 2 more layers on all the doors!! Thanks guys I got a few pics uploading

I had a dc power quad kit, I tried an iraggi quad and a tejcurrent quad the will not work on my truck unless I put on a different booster, my buddy has a 05 silverado with the 6.0 and the quad brackets have all worked on his... They just don't fit on mine... Which is ok I mean 3- 300a alts charging at 15v+ works out pretty good

It's not the 6.0 if you watch my video walk around you can kinda see it... On my Burban it was the first year of the ltz, and the brake booster is longer and theres a vac hose that comes off the front of the booster... That hose and hose nipple hits the 4th one... If that makes sense?

Well I was going to go with 4 9Ks but I couldn't find a for sure buyer for all 3 of my 5Ks so I just bought 5 more and now have 40k+ rms lol

Haha yea guys it should've been playing but when I dropped the cash on (5) more 5Ks for my rebuild... And the steel, and the hardware, and all the fiberglass, glue, screws, wood etc.... Wallets feeling kinda empty lol

I'm gna start by ordering like 6 more d3400's for now an then anther order of 6-8.... And with all the weight I'm prob to the point where I'm just gna put in some helper bags with an air chuck on them and a small gauge to get a level setting

no just picked up some supplies today and maybe tomorrow we will pull all the subs amps and box.... and no on any more alts... just a ton more batteries!! obviously.. if yopu can drop your truck off and pay to have someone do your work for you lol i knew this was coming.... iv built this suburban 3 times from the ground up all 3 times... and this go around is def the biggest, i have done every single inch of work on this truck!! and i now have around 20k or more in audio... and this wouldv be my first bandpass build.... and not to mention im sick of rebuilds and not being happy, iv got over 500 in my last box which will be a big ass paper weight now.... so for those of you who think im just made of money YOU ARE WRONG i took out a loan to do this build in the beginning and now iv been saving and selling anything extra that iv got laying around and i work for my money not mom or dad paying for it... i work at a coal powerplant Big Rivers Electric, i work 12hr swing shift... and the original plan was going to be for mike to design it and me build it, but the more we spoke and he learned that i had never built a shell inside the car... iv always done the wall build with a box that can come out the back or a door or wte with big cover panels to seal it off.... so me being un experienced and having a fairly high goal he offered to his skills.... mike is just doing the enclosure i will be doing cover panels finish paint etc.... thanks and sry for the rant lol blake

Mike tells me there are spring upgrades but I'm yet to find them.... I'll throw in some bags laying around the shop if need be lol always nice to have a ratrod/ chop shop on hand

alright guys went and picked up and also ordered: over 400 bolts, nuts, washers, lock washers (1/4" and 3/8") 100' of knu 8awg blue 100' of knu 8awg black 3 gallons of resin 5 qts of fiberglass kitty hair 5000+ 1 5/8" screws 500 2" screws 500 3" screws tons of fiberglass matte 8 large contractor sized liquid nails 8 tubes of silicon 8 cans of expanding foam and im still yet to get: 40' of 1/4" 2"x2" angel iron and 13 sheets of 3/4" birch overload coils (to replace stocks) ----- any help on where to find these??? 5- DC Audio 5Ks i may have left some stuff out but ill try to keep it updated as we go and ill make a build log as the build progress gets closer!! :drinks: :drinks:
