lol yeah i talked to scott. mine will be hear on fri. so i am happy and ready to get it. the bad thing is that im going on vac for a week so i wont get to insall it until i get backPop the gasket off, locate the holes in the basket, take a screw or a drill bit and poke holes through the foam where the holes are in the basket...re-install the gasket, done!
Same with me, im outta town for the rest of next week. Only get to hear it for a few hours

Thats exactly what i did, it worked fine. Now im waiting to power that sucker.

Just received my 18" BL, i am over joyed with it, but the only thing is, there are no holes for the screws to go through to attatch it to the box. There are holes in the basket, but not through the foam, do i just get a punch or something and poke a hole through?

Yeah, i did intentionally call it the exploder, i was actually looking for a "D" off an expedition so i can replace the "R" and have the badge actually say "EXPLODER"
And i know the amp is'nt 3000 RMS, its 1700 at 1 ohm i beleive.

I have an 18" Fi BL and a 3000 watt power acoustik mono amp. What would be a rough estimate for DB's that i can put out? It's in a 99 exploder.

This is the design, arond the woofer will be the flames from the sublime sun. On the front will be the Fi logo and above that, a window into the box with some blue lights inside. On on side will sit my battery and on the other will sit my xbox and carputer. Ports on either side of the fi logo.
There will be a top "plate" and a front "plate" that i can easily remove to hide/gain access to my battery, xbox, and carputer.

well, as of wed the 18th, my sub was in las vegas and in transit, so it should be here by the beginning of next week... hopefully. I'll post pics of my new box my friend is painting for me when it's finished.

All you need to know about lifting/lowering and other mods. To get some 36 on that your going to have to get the superlift 4" with at least a 2" BL and an AAL and twist the torsion bolts and then go for some extreme fender trimming.

My old setup had a MOFO-12 with the 1800 watt PS2 amp and it wasnt too bad, never got metered though.

What's the average time it takes to receive a Fi woofer. I orderd the BL 18" on the 7th and have yet to receive a notification of shipping, it just say's payment received.

amp came today, same with my fat ass RCA's, fed-ex is the shit!
I'll post a video of the sub soon in the forums and post a link here.
