  1. Ya ill def. keep you guys posted, i was wonderin what you guys had in mind, im gonna face the subs up but which way do you think the port should face, would up be fine as well?
  2. Theyre both going in the extended cab, im removing the back seats and making a 6.5 cu.ft, tuning it to around 32hz. Ill show the build as i start which hopefully should be by next week. Thats my old box by the way, it was 3.5cu.ft at 30hz, i sold my sub to him and he decided to get another lol.
  3. Ya little stuff like that I find cheaper at local shops, plus right there youre paying alil more for the name, but i guess 6 bucks a piece isnt to bad.
  4. Ya i checked it out on sonic and it sais 300, but ya i never use anything less then what the amp(s) has in it so for now id go with 300.
  5. Id use what ever the amps calling for where ever youre going to put the fuse(s), i think its 300 on that right?
  6. This is Fosgate wire which is what I use and I actually got it from the same link, its up all the time, fast shipping too. http://cgi.ebay.com/40-Ft-Rockford-Fosgate...1QQcmdZViewItem
  7. So are you getting sound from other speakers in the car? If not then you have to connect the cd players remote wire to the harness's amp wire in order to power up the factory amp. If you are getting sound from others then the rewiring should solve it. Jus tryin to save u some time.
  8. ive never been in one bro but im lookin at your post and you only gave people 9 minutes to reply lol
  9. http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6335_Hifonics+ZXi+6006.html That one is decent if youre getting the 2ohm version of the sub, bridge it @ 4 ohms and youre gettin 600 rms
  10. Stay away from heat and motion objects, keep it secure, grommet the hole(s) your bringing it through. Why are you running negative though, it would probaly be better to make new shorter ones.
  11. now is it the subs that arent as loud or the whole system, cuz the subs like the guy said a few above me could be from a loose vc wire, they would still hit but nothing like b4, but if its your whole system speaks n everything then im def. thinkin voltage drops/ problems, mayb after the batteries if your gauge is reading correctly, or mayb a battery is your problem.
  12. I like MA & Hifi theyre both really steady amps for what youre looking for, if price is not an issue then sonic has alot of choices of amps in that power range, anything from kicker, memphis, rockford or the jl/1000, on a budget i would go with MA or Hifi... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6522_H...+BXi+1206D.html - Hifi<<<< http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3474_M...io+HK1000D.html[/url] - MA<<<<
  13. Yea bro to me i can tell a difference, i used to own a alpine-mrp-f450 and then i sold it because ive always heard the 300/4 was sick when it came to clarity, i changed nothing but the amp and i was amazed on how crisp the speaks were, i dont have subs in my car with the 300/4 so i put the high pass alil lower to give a lil bump to my speaks and even with the bass i am amazed on the vocals its puttin out, its not 100% the amp of course cuz i have nice infinity speaks but comparing it to the alpine it was a major increase overall. btw, i ordered it from sonic too, one of the best sites prolly for shoppin.
  14. Im using the JL 300/4 right now, itsa very good amp if youre looking for quality and its ratings are about what your lookin for. Pc
  15. I have this amp and im very pleased, im runnin half ohm and theres no distortion what so ever and ive never overheated, im only using 4 gauge too but it can take 0. Amps a beast I 100% recommend. http://sonicelectronix.com/item_2695_MA+Audio+HK401SX.html
