Its probably 2-1/4, i wouldnt waste any money on a cat back, pick out a high flow cat if you even want a cat, and then pick a style muffler that youll like. My opinion is to go with a high flow cat and a turbo style muffler, that will give you a real smooth deep tone unlike chambered or glasspacks.

People on a budget i usually suggest them to use nos or gears, gears dont add power but it sure feels like it, but if your really into performance then ya turbo is the way to go, it all depends on your wallet cuz you gotta paY tA pLay!

Hot wire the fan to see if the motor is still good, if it is then i would replace the cts/t-stat, both cheap and easy.

Do your fans turn on? If not it could be a bad relay, coolant temp switch or fan motor. (Hot wire it to test the motor) If they do turn on then your thermostat is probaly stuck. Your headgasket can make your car do this to but you will most likely be able to tell because of the loss of compression in your motor, you will have no power at all basically. (And be leaking coolant)

You can try buying a herculiner kit from autozone for 80, and then a spray gun for 30 at harbor freight, thats what i do for my boxes, i dont see a bed being much harder.
