40hz is low?
My bad, maybe I should have been more specific. Low as in relation to the other notes in the song.

Not sure if alot of you will like this, it's country, but good god does it have some good bass.
I think the mp3 I've got is a tad bit clipped, but it still sounds good. Right before the chorus there's a really heavy low note, around 40hz I believe.
Then here's another track I just played for the very first time in the truck. A new GnR song.

Yeah it would be stronger, I assume if you drilled the hole only half through the board then you have a barrier for the insert to not be able to keep going through.
I've seen these and they're pretty nifty, but I've always just stuck with T-nuts. We've used these inserts in cheapo bath vanities and they just suck ass. It seems like it being such big threads that it tears the wood up more and feels loose all the time.
But if you're in a situation where these are going to work better than the T-nuts I say go for it, just make sure to put wood glue around the threads to give it a tight hold.
Still kinda leery on that being brass.

Thought about it, I think they did a similar thing on pimp my ride. They put a dry erase board up in the headliner for people to sign or for the person to leave notes on or something.

Anytime you stream the mp3 from youtube or myspace you wont get good sound quality at all. Usually around 96kbs or less.
In a sense it's not even worth it unless you can put some mega work into restoring the track. If that's the case it's just easier to try and buy the song somewhere.

Man, that's cool to get to go see that. I personally love watching the tough trucks races that they do at the monster truck shows myself.

Opening day was saturday for rifle season. I went to the stand, but the damn thing was full of yellow jackets so I had to sit on the 4wheeler and see what all came out.
Wasn't a complete loss, I saw 4 doe so that's a good sign. Hopefully in the upcoming weekends I'll see a big buck.

The thing is, I wouldn't suppose that you would HAVE to use a big massive CRT display. There's so many cool things I've seen people do with LED matrix's so why not an oscilliscope?

Ah, nice, those pieces of equipment are kickass.
Strange enough though, you never see them actually in today's car audio too much. I think that personally if you had a LCD display incorporated somewhere in your system that showed your songs playing through an oscilliscope it would be KICKASS!
For example on Winamp media player, you can have an oscilliscope showing your song playing and it's just entertaining for me to watch it display my songs. I was looking for a while to find an LED display or something similar I could put in my truck that would make a display. Not necessarily for tuning purposes but more for just eye candy.

technically manson wasnt in the eminem song. he was just mentioned "and they blame it on marilyn...and the heroine..." he might've been in a remix tho. but he's in the one with DMX which is pretty good
I think if I remember correctly they did actually get together and remix the track.

Yeah I wasn't so impressed with this slipknot album either. Supposedly from what I read in guitar world the band wasn't too enthusiastic about it themselves. They kinda talked about it as if it was just something to get out of the way so they can move on to the next album.

I play guitar, I used to be pretty damn decent, but lately my main hobbies transitioned to my truck and performing magic at the local bars. Those take up quite a bit of my time, but I always make time to pick up my acoustic every now and then.

Then I actually did get to record a track and do vocals to it when my brother was in town with his recording mixer and setup. Any marilyn manson fans might recognize it, it's coma white but my acoustic version.
I'm not so top notch as a singer I'll admit, but if anything it's not the easiest thing to atleast attempt to give a shot at recording yourself and sharing with others, so now I've at least got backup to prove that I've at least tried.
